Maybe it's just me but why did they pull the reins in on Joe from like game 7 for the rest of the year. I think it got to the point (injury
not withstanding) that Joe was afraid to throw the ball because we preached ball security so much. The first 5 or 6 games he was just cutting it loose. We did the same thing with Kyle. If we want a passing game and new wide receivers then we have to let Joe be free to cut it loose.

Because Flacco's best options at WR are only Mason and Rice. The others get open, but either try to body catch and drop passes or jus stick out one hand instead of making a real effort to catch the ball.

We should have put talent around Flacco last offseason, but we were told to go up to them and say that the can't play in this league.

This offseason, they must put top priority on receiving/TE talent for Flacco.

I think Flacco did a good job this year. I am very far from putting him in the Boller category that's for sure :). As has been said so many times on the forums...We need to get him a new weapon or two on offense. Rice can only do so much.

Even if we dont get a fancy name like Boldin/Marshall, all we need a guy to do is run good routes, get open, and good hands. Blazing speed is nice but we arent the Raiders.

Yea just give us someone who is good at moving the chains. Would I like a superstar? Yes, of course. Would I want to see us lose some of the younger talent we have to get one? Nope.

I would be happy with a Julian Edelman(SP?) type of guy. Would be nice to grab a number one receiver to.

I agree. Guys like Reggie Wayne, Roddy White and Steve Smith(NYG) don't get a ton of love but they move the chains consistently.

Here is a name that I thnk will be available and could be traded. RANDY MOSS!!! I am calling it. He won't be a Patriot next season, and I would welcome him here with open arms. I would try to package a deal of McGahee and a 7thpick for Moss. Then I would still address WR in the draft.

Randy Moss? Why wouldn't he be a Pat next year? And even if he is traded, I doubt the Pats would trade for McGahee, his contract and just a seventh round pick.

I know it sounds crazy and you are right that it will take a different package, but I think the pats move Moss in the right deal. There was the late arrival to the meeting and it could be argued that he quit against us. Maybe he wants out of NE. Just throwing it out there, but my prediction is that Randy Moss is moved a deal that takes everyone by surprised except for me.

And I would take Randy Moss here in a second. It would allow for us to draft and develop other receivers under him.

Give me my respect if Moss is traded. Call me Nucking Futs if he isn't.

I'm calling you crazy now but you made some valid points and I wouldn't be completely surprised if he was dealt.

LOL! So assuming that I am not crazy, would you endorse going after Moss if he were available? What would you pay?

I would go after Moss if he's available at a reasonable price. His value has obviously gone up since the Pats acquired him for a fourth round pick but he'll be 33 next year.

I can't give you anything exact but I would want the Ravens to give up something reasonable no matter who they go after.

On another note, I just found out Randy Moss is from Rand, West Virginia. LOL!

Maybe I am the crazy one here. I wouldn't want us to go after Moss. I know we need the help at WR but I would much rather grab a younger guy to groom as the number one. I am biased a bit though as I can't really stand randy. His attitude and the way his numbers drop without Wes Welker in the lineup. I just don't think he would be that effective as our WR1. Like Isaid though maybe I am the crazy one :).
