Only Jaws picked Miami, but he did also pick Denver. So he must not be that smart.

Ravens - 34

Miami - 17

I dont trust ESPN. I dont think they are "experts" because they are almost always wrong. The fact that they picked the Ravens doesnt reassure me. I would rather we be the underdog, maybe being the underdog to the team with the worst record in the league would make our players angry enough to do something good.

I somehow doubt the madden simulation has got it right for the Cincy 49ers game.

They have somehow come to the conclusion that 2 touchdowns,2 XP's and 3 field goals equates to 29 points! :P

Was watching Sportscenter today and Chris Berman picked Miami to win. He said the final score would be Miami 15 the Ravens 11. Weird scores but remember when the Ravens won the Super Bowl no one picked them to win and looked what happened. Miami is starting Cleo Lemon because they need to win this game and he gives them the best chance to do that, plus they got the Pats then Cincy after us and this is the game they are looking at as a must win game.

I personally think its Berman whos trying to vote for the Dolphins simply because theyre underdogs and he wants that offchance of winning the ballgame.

In the madden simulation McGahee scored all the TD's.

2 receiving 2 rushing

i honestly feel that if we can get the ball into McGahee's hand and let him do his thing and move the chains and keep our offense on the field..we should have a pretty good shot, along with our Passing game being some-what effective in the very least and our defense coming up with the key/crucial turnovers and opportunitities for us to get the ball back.

Ravens: 27

Miami: 7

Jaws is the only one paying attention then. Ravens are the worst road team in the nfl. Billick doesn't know how to prepare them for road trips and if you have any doubt look at the Ravens road record the last three years (7-15).

Several players on this team quit against the Colts and even more will quit now that they've heard Billick is back for 2008. What a travesty that Bisciotti is letting him keep coaching. Dolphins 13 Ravens 7....most embarrassing loss in Ravens history.

all the negativity, i simply cannot believe all of it going on here.....we will get back to where we need to be! all you need is a little thing called patience and time for things to work themsevles out

Why can't you believe it? Fans want to see this team win but as long as Billick is the hc it isn't going to happen. Do you know what the Ravens record is since 2002? It's 49-46 and that includes an 0-3 playoff record since 02.

Face it, Billick isn't good for this team anymore. They don't respond to him and most of them are like the fans in that they want him outta here. You think Ogden is going to comeback now that Billick will. Ray Lewis might even ask to be dealt and who can blame him.

why cant you have faith and believe that we can do it.....i mean thats what a Fan base is SUPPOSED to do....support their team through it all and eventually , things will turn around for us and we'll get back to where we need to be at.

I haven't stopped supporting the team. I love the Ravens but I'm sick of seeing them suffer under Billick. Its hard to have faith when the team is only 3 games above .500 since 2002. There is a good chance they'll lose the last three games and Billick's record will be 49-49 since 2002.

How can you put much faith into a coach with a .500 record in the last 7 years? You're fooling yourself if you think Billick can turn the ship around. It's time for a change. The team has had too much talent to be 49-49 in the last 7 years.

it may be hard at times because its painful to watch us go through the NFL struggles....it happens to EVERY team in this league as well as at all other levels of football....but no matter what, you must always keep and instill a sense of faith because sooner or later the team will be back to where it needs to be at....and then what will the people say???..so keep the faith

The team needs to be winning playoff games and competing for Super Bowls. It will be 7 years since they won a playoff game and competed for a Super Bowl. That is too long to have to wait for them to get back to where they need to be.

Even longer when you consider that during those 7 years the Ravens had one of the best defenses in NFL history but still couldn't even log a playoff win because Billick could never straighten out the offense.

If Billick is such a great coach wouldn't one of the many Quarterbacks he's had panned out at some time. They've all been duds in his offense. The wide receivers haven't been that good either. Other coaches have had less talented Quaterbacks and Wide Receivers and gotten more out of them.

take a look at some of the other teams around the league....some havent been in the Superbowl let alone the Play-offs in quite a while now....

those quarterbacks should've panned out IF they were putting their best foot forward and playing/practicing hard....and having good communication and cooperation and chemistry between teammates/players...i think thats ultimately what it boils down to.

How many of those teams that haven't made the playoffs or won a playoff game in a while held onto the same coach for 7 years. Those teams realized the current coach wasn't taking them anywhere and cut ties with them.

Billick is still the head coach even though they are 0-3 in the playoffs since 2002 and have only made the playoffs in 3 of the last 7 seasons. I don't know what else I have to tell you to convince you Billick is bad for the team.

How about that from 2003-2006 the Ravens had the 3rd, 6th, 5th, and 1st ranked defenses. All Billick had to do was put together a respectable offense. With defenses like that he'd surely make the playoffs and win a couple of playoff games. WRONG! Only 2 playoff appearances in that time and 1 and done in both. And they even had home field advantage in those games. The coaching effort Billick gave against the Colts last year was the worst of all time.

Its hard to believe that ALL of those Quarterbacks were giving less than 100%. Boller works hard in the offseason and when he gets nailed in games he gets right back up. You can see he's giving his all. Grbac was a Pro Bowl QB before Billick got a hold of him.

there's been a fair share of teams in this league right now that Fire a coach before they really have a good enough feel for the team, then they switch it over to yet another 'Head coach" and the process starts all over again....

this team just needs to work on the "team" elements and get back to the fundamentals of football so that they can undertand it a little more clearer...and therefore since they will have a better overall understanding of whats going on...that leads to better team work, better communication, better cooperation with everyone on the field, better overall skill exc...

as for Boller, never have i once said i wanted him out or anything of the sort.....seems to me that other people on this board are the one's calling Boller out and what not

That is true but you can't say that about the Ravens. Billick has had nine seasons to put together an offense and he hasn't yet. Most teams would only give a coach half of that time and then let him loose after he didn't get the offense corrected.

Nice talking with you Raven07. I gotta hit the sack. Hope I get to talk with you later. PEACE BROTHER! :)

cant say that about the Ravens??? lol we've had the injury bug bite us more than a few times throughout the years and all of which have been at vital/key positions to this offense whether it be the quarterback position or up on the offensive line....whatever the case, with the constant moving players in and out....there is never a real chance for the players to establish a "comfort" zone with their teammates and them with that particular player.....therefore we see the mistakes on the field.

0 int for Boller in the Madden sim. Obviously it's a flawed system.

Well, it did have Williams as listed in the game, and he's on IR.

Hoge actually picked the Ravens, I'm impressed.

And I love Jaworski's analysis, but it seems like he's been hating on the Ravens all season. When they asked him on PTI what the Ravens could do to have a chance against the Patriots, he just laughed. Wouldn't answer the question, wouldn't give any analysis...just laughed.

Ravens 17

Dolphins 16

I hope.

i think we all are pulling for the team to win this one (well apart from the "other" fans of other teams out there lol) but im sure that if we can establish and early running game and keep it going for the entire game...we should be fine...along with at LEAST a "Par" passing attack..we should be fine....after all

NFL network said that (referring to the Dophins depleted secondary and overall poor defensive showing ALL year)...."Top Ten Players to watch in week 15 of the National Football League....Number 1...Willis McGahee....i feel that willis will have himself a Great game in this match-up....and with the way Miami is poor at stopping anything to this point....look for McGahee to have a "feast" running the football against the Miami defense..in which Zach Thomas is on IR"
