It will be a great game. If Theodore starts, I hope he is on his A+ game. The Pens are a good team.

I was at a meeting so I caught the opening minute, and then the wrap-up shows. Glad to hear the Caps won and that Theodore was on fire last night. Now if he could only be consistent about it, we could be an even more dangerous team.

However, since he will need a backup, any word on the latest for Varlamov?

He re-injured himself a few weeks ago, during a rehab start in Hershey. I have not heard anymore news on Varly.

Yeah, I remembered hearing that, and apparently he's almost healthy but Boudreau doesn't want to throw him back into the mix until he's had a few good practices under his belt. I don't blame him, why injure the guy for a third time?

Although Varly was named to the Russian Olympic team, I hope he does not play that much. I would hate to see him get hurt again. The Caps should make sure he is 100% before any game action.

I think Varly is the best goaltender on the team when he is healthy. But until he is healthy I am fine with playing Jose Theodore and Michael Neuvirth. Jose Theodore is on FIRE as of late, he had a fantastic game last night.

Since there is no Cap game tonight, I guess I'll watch the Wizards try to win a game.

Tonight we face off against Pittsburgh for the first time since Game 7 of the semifinals for the Stanley Cup. That should be a very intense game, I think I might have to consider going to the local bar to watch (I currently don't have cable). I hope the Caps win!

Yeah, I know they love Criesby (or is it Crysby) and with the Caps seeing an upward trend in their players getting penalties (is Frank Walker an assistant coach?!), this could be decided by power plays tonight.

Caps played one hell of a game. OV is the best. Its always nice to see a Pittsburgh team loose. Hopefully we can beat the Phoenix Coyotes next game.

I saw Cindy Crosby a few times try to convince the refs to give him a few calls. Man he irritates me.
