Is anyone else excited for the the Caps vs Red Wings game tonight?

Since I see you have a Wizards avatar pic, what are your thoughts that Ted Leonsis could end up owning both the Caps and the Wizards?

I'm pretty excited to tell you the truth. Ted is a great owner, and a great guy.

Ted has made the Caps into a well respected championship caliber franchise. If Ted gets the Wizards, I'm sure he will make the right moves to help make the Wizards contenders. The Wizards are going through a lot of obstacles this season.

Ovechkin needs 2 goals to be tied for the most goals in the NHL, and 3 to take the lead from Patrick Marleau who has 32 goals.

If Ovechkin did not miss 8 games this season, I'm sure he would have the lead by now.

He also needs three more points to tie Sedin (67) and four to take the lead.

Ovechkin leads the NHL in +/- with 28. Jeff Schultz is in second with 27.

This thread could also be used as a Caps game thread during the games. This board seems to have a lot of Caps fans.

He will be on the Russian Olympic team along with Ovechkin, Semin, Varlamov, and also former Capital Viktor Kozlov. It will be fun to watch Federov, and Kozlov again.
