His name came up on the Rob Long Show. He is a UFA, so the only way we get a chance to sign him is if we lose a UFA. But what do you think of him?

Sidenote: I hope and expect that the new CBA gets done. It always look the darkest before the dawn in negotiations, but there is no way that the NFLPA lets the uncapped year happen. I digress.

Anyways, what do you think of Bryant?

Yup, 1 outstanding year with a highly under-rated Jeff Garcia throwing him the ball. I dont know why this guy cant land a job, he's so good on the field but he must be a complete ****** to deal with. He didn't produce this year because of a lack of a real passing game in TB, but he could be a threat here in Baltimore. Sadly, I don't see us landing a solid receiver through free agency this year though.

I lived in the SF bay area for 3 years, so I got to watch alot of Niner games. He is highly talented, physical, runs good routes, but from everything I heard when I was out there is that he is a total "I" guy. Basically like a mini TO, except he doesnt air it out in public, which is respectable at least.

I think the fact that this year was dissapointing and he sat the whole year on IR will lower the price we can get him for especially if no one else takes serious interest in him (which I find doubtful, but possible).

I watched a lot of niner games to because I was in the Bay when he was here and you explained him perfectly. The only thing many people forget to mention is the fact that he can catch almost anything. This guy has amazing hands.
