Bears Give 2 Draft Picks So Far For Marshall

7 posts in this topic

The Chicago bears have recently gave up 2 draft picks to the broncos, from what i was reading on espn....So to me that sounds like they are trying to get their hands on him, he would work with cutler and they got all the money they need right now if they really wanted to pursue him....So that leaves us to the draft or boldin and i think the draft would be a better way out than the boldin situation, he is starting to age hes already 30+ right now i think...So this team is going young to grow with flacco.....All the marshall haters should be happy now haha

I think what you saw on the draft page is from the cutler trade maybe?

On April 2, Cutler was traded to the Chicago Bears along with a fifth-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. In return, the Broncos received quarterback Kyle Orton, the Bears' first and third-round selections in 2009, and the Bears' first-round pick in 2010.

They just put that note there because the pick can either belong to the Broncos or Jaguars. So one team will get one and the other team the other. It's not two picks from the Broncos, just one.
