I thought that Rivers would destroy the blitz, but clearly I overestimated his abilities to overcome elite defenses. He can't get it done against the Steelers and he's not getting it dones against the Jets... in fact, he had a pretty lousy passer rating when he faced the Ravens too.

Just like Manning needs perfect timing, Rivers needs his deep drop. It's like these two players kryponite. If you can find away to disrupt the timing/deep drop, you can own these quarterbacks.
