No. Autopsy's pending. He was found unconscious at 9 am this morning...taken to the hospital...and he was gone. I'm watching Fox Sports right now...they announced the bad news earlier...and Ronde Barber spoke on behalf of the Bucs saying they're all devastated down there.

Reports are that it was a heart attack while he was visiting his family. I've also heard he had an enlarged heart or something, but that could be false.

It really sucks to hear this, I dont really like to think about this stuff but man... Steroids are killing these guys ( speculation, but could be the case)

My prayers go out to his family and to everyone who now has a tremendous void in their life after his passing. It really puts things into perspective when some one so young and in such good shape is taken. Just sad and shocking.

Gaines Adams of the Bears passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest. Thoughts and prayers are with the Adams family,the Bears and the Bucs, who he used to play for.

Now that could be the case, however an enlarged heart is not part of steroid side effects...my knowledge on the subject is pretty good, but not great.

Yes the left ventrical (sp) is the one usually affected which can lead to cardiac arrest, which is coincidentally what Adams died of. Just have to wait and see for the autopsy. Either way, man 26 isnt too far off from where Im from,,,its just sad man way before his time.
