Congratulations, Ravens!

Many thanks to the entire Ravens organization for another year of making it into the playoffs. Overall, not a bad year. A few big wins. No regular season blowouts. Lost close games to top performing opponents. Still a great defense with an improving and increasing offense. With some position additions to the team and increased discipline, we'll be back in the playoffs again next year. Looking forward to an even better 2010 season.

Let's not forget all the guys we have returning from IR.

L Webb, Adam Terry, Fabian Washington, Brendon A.

That'll be an improvement in the O-Line, CB and special teams department instantly.

My Wife and I would like to say thanks to the Ravens for:

1. Playing like a TEAM without the bickering and negative press other teams endure

2. Holding Fast in the face of adversity and the opnions of the experts.

3. Playing proud, strong, fierce and fair.

These guys are everything that my wife and I expect in a football team. They'll be back and so will we.

thanks for the kind words my friend

Thanks for the kind words. I am a Ravens fan because of the team and the fans not because of the wins. We have a group of men and fans that have heart and that is why I am a RAVENS fan. I bleed purple because the Ravens are more than a football team.

I agree and it who the team is and what they stand for that makes me a Raven Fan it isn't if the win or lose. HEART is what we got.

Tough way to end - but thanks to the Ravens for a great season. Made some great adjustments mid-year and stayed together. I loved how Flacco and Johnson both were right there to encourage Ray Rice after the fumble...they gotta stick together and come out strong again next year. GO RAVENS!
Yeah we saw that. Bought a tear to the wife's eye and I got a little "misty" myself...they looked like a team, winning and losing together and that's alright with us!

Is anyone else making Reservations for a Hotel in Westminster already? I'll be at training camp like every single year for two days, morning and afternoon practices.

Would love to meet up with some fellow posters here, hopefully some regulars. :baltimore-ravens:

As a Colts fan, I would like to support your comment above. I am also proud to be a part of an organization where the players are very active in the community as well as their dedication to the latest catastrophe, the earthquake in Haiti. Not sure how many of you know but Garcon is from Haiti, between him, the Colts and the state of Indiana, we are doing what we can to help out as much as possible. It is a great feeling knowing that you are a part of something much greater then football.

As sorry as I am to see the season end, I can't help but think of how great a year this really was. The Ravens overcame so much as far as injuries were concerned, a young offensive line growing and learning, the emergence of Ray Rice, so many positives for them to build on. I want to thank everyone in the Raven's organization from top to bottom, the fans, and all of you here in this forum. We have a bright future ahead of us one that I will always be honored to not only watch unfold, but still go out and remind everyone, yes I am a Ravens Fan!!

:o Lucky, but its worth it to me to travel the 3 hours to watch my team practice, then meet a player at a restaurant later that night. lol It happens every time I go. When Lone Star steak house was there about 5 years ago I shook hands with Brandon Stokley and talked about the Super Bowl Touchdown catch he had. He was sitting outside the restaurant with his wife waiting for a table. Back in like 1998 and 99 training camp was much better because not as many people went then and there was almost ZERO security, and you could go right up to the players and hug them, im not kidding, I hugged Jarmaine Lewis infront of his FAMILY that was sitting on the sidelines where i was, Jarmaine came over to grab a towel and Gatorade from his mom. Got my picture taken with him and everything. Great times.

With the progress the team has made in the past two years, and the likelihood they'll continue getting better, I'm very optimistic.

And I'm really glad to have a hometown team to cheer for.

Thanks Ravens players, coaches, and staff.

3 Hrs! I plan on finaly going to a game next year in Baltimore it will take at least a 20 hour plain ride!! But I am feed up with not beeing able to say I have been to a Ravens home game. Just not sure what would be the best game. Also on a different subject not only congrats to the team and coaches but to all the real fans not trolls or band wagoners thanks for staying true supporting our Ravens.

Congratulations to the Ravens on a good year. 2 straight playoff appearances, hope it becomes a trend.

A little tweaking and I think we can go farther. Last year we caught teams of guard, this year they were ready for us. A pass rusher, a receiver, resign some of our FAs and we make another run next year.

Thank you Ravens for a good year.

This year had its ups and downs, as any year does. We faced adversity, and injury a bit more than we would have liked but bottom line we were 2 games from the Superbowl, and alot of teams cant say that. Despite what some think we were a top 8 team in the NFL, and have played in 5 playoff games in 2 years.Thank You Ravens. We love you. Can't wait till August.

There's no way to put into words the appreciation I feel for all the effort all of those in the Ravens organization put into this year. Another step forward - another piece of the journey completed.

Thank you all so much for your effort, blood, sweat and tears. You make being a fan so easy and give us something impressive to look up to in so many ways.

Thank you all.

Thanks OP. All I can say is that I love this team. I follow the players, the press conferences, from training camp to the end of the season. We made the postseason despite key injuries, poor kicking, and untimely penalties. The nucleus is there, and I'll be there next year rooting again.

THIS SEASON HAS BEEN A SUCCESS. NOT THE ULTIMATE SUCCESS, BUT A SUCCESS NONETHELESS.

Thanks everybody - its been great. Now let's get a wideout or two!! :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:
