Manning didn't throw a TD pass when his Colts beat our Ravens in 2006 -- he can't lead a team?
Pretty sure he threw a couple in other games. Flacco has amassed 1 total TD in 5 playoff games, correct?

Lol, I love fans like you..... It's like people just don't know anything about football anymore. HE DID NOT LEAD THE RAVENS!!! when you complete 4 passes in a game, you are not an NFL Playoff QB. When you can't throw a TD in the Playoffs, you obviously can't lead a team.
I think many teams out there would be happy to have Flacco as their starter. 3-2 in two seasons as a qa, sounds pretty good to me. I think 5 dropped passes does have something to do with it. Perhaps if he actually had an NFl quality receiver minus Mason, he would be better.

Mason deserved a better end to his career than this.
Ed Reed deserves to have a ring by now, and Ray should probably have more than one, but this team just isn't good enough to get it done yet.

how befitting it is for us to go out (self-destructing penalities, a weak passing game and poor defensive pressure on the QB) the same way that our ENTIRE season has been? A DAMN ROLLERCOASTER!!

hey Ozzie.........

WE NEED SOME EXPLOSIVE WIDE RECEIVERS AND DEFENSIVE BACKS!!!

make it happen at the draft!

When was the last time we scored a touchdown against the Colts starters or even beaten them? When was the last time we beat Big Ben? When was the last we beat Carson Plamer? When was the last time we beat the Patriots?

Oh yeah, at least we broke one of the streaks.... :(

Like someone said earlier, the Rams could use some fans.

Maybe you should be one, because you obviously can't tell a good performance from a bad one.

I like Flacco but we really need a QB that can do it when it is needed.
Flacco is doing just fine. It would help to have receivers that can actually run routes, exception of Mason, and catch the ball.

Stop with the damn record. You have to look at the QB himself. Peyton has 1 really good receiver, but the rest WERE garbagio, before he got to them. Dan Marino had a very sucky team, yet he was good.

Would you rather have stats or would you rather have wins?

Do you guys feel we should have done ourselves a favor and bowed out in the wild card round, seeing that now we can't even go out and sign a solid free agent receiver because of the CBA? This performance was pathetic by our team. Painful turnovers and costly penalties. They out-hustled us. They just seemed more motivated to win. Our guys just fell flat. Painful. I personally hope either the Saints from the NFC or the Chargers/Jets from the AFC win it. Why can't we ever beat the Colts? What the hell is wrong with us? We need more explosive player on offense, we really do.

Main reason why Boller sucked= O Line
Bro, I don't mean to attack you here, but weren't you like eight when Boller was playing?

Kyle Boller just wasn't a good quarterback at all; he literally looked like he was having a panic attack every time he dropped back, couldn't read defenses at all, and wasn't accurate enough where it counted.

I'm pretty damn confident in saying that if Boller had the same line Flacco does, he still would have been a really bad quarterback.

Hmmm, Peyton has Reggie Wayne & Clark, and turned the other into good ones. Joe has Rice, Mason AND Heap.

First off, Ray Rice is a hell of a player and we'll be lucky have him around for future seasons, so lay off him please.

With the season now over, all I can say is man I hope we use our first 2 picks on the best WR and CB available.
Even the commentators noted that the reason Rice has led in both rush and recieve is because we have no threatening
WRs for Flacco to go to. Mason is ok, but we need someone as good at WR as Rice is at RB. If we can get WR and CB picks and maybe pick up a good 2nd reciever, maybe we'll actually make the opposing teams consider our passing game a threat. Until that happens, the formula against us is "shut down Ray Rice".

I'd rather have a QB with better stats than a QB that'll just have an amazing running game & defense, i.e. Marino vs. Dilfer.

Bowing out in the wild card round? I know that no one on the team would have ever thought about that. This run wasn't about free agency. It was about the SuperBowl. Yeah ok...we failed. But I would have been extremely pissed off had the team laid down to the Patriots.

We flat out stink. This was our year to get it done. Now, a year older we will most likely lose Mason and Ray Ray to retirement. We had no sense of urgency tonight until there were 3 minutes left. What a joke Harbaugh is. Timeouts at the wrong time. Penalties all year. No DISCIPLINE whatsoever! Flacco is not as good as we think he is. He isn't bad and will be a great QB, but lets not overestimate his skillz.

We suck. The Steelers would have beat the Colts. Big Ben is an elite QB, Manning is an Elite QB..Flacco is a great athlete, nerdy and always confused looking. Get his some help, Ozzy!

It was an admittedly entertaining year, despite all the ups-and-downs. There was no shortage of drama, and it's fitting that the season would end with a monumental upset followed by a crushing defeat.

There were a lot of highlights and low-lights, but there were plenty of reasons to be proud of this team. Despite all the negatives, there's still plenty of promise heading into next season and the window to win a championship isn't closed yet. Not by a longshot.

Ray Rice is one of the deadliest weapons in the NFL. Ed Reed showed that he's still a ballhawk. The Ravens defense improved significantly in the second half of the season and returned to form. The passing attack showed promise early in the season with virtually no receivers. Joe Flacco took the next step to becoming a good QB and progressed just as he should have in his second year. Ray Lewis fought off Father Time for another year.

The Ravens will get another shot at the Patriots next season, as well as the first regular-season meeting against Rex Ryan and his Jets. Drew Brees brings his Saints to Baltimore for a potential shoot-out. And the Flacco-Ryan Bowl will finally go down in the Georgia Dome, with the top 2 QBs in the 2008 Draft Class facing off.

Lots to be excited about in 2010.

I agree it's been a fun year, in spite of the frustrations. Thanks to all for informative and entertaining posts throughout games and through the weeks. Here's hoping for a great draft and FA signings!

Well everyone has their own opinion, but I'll take Dilfer and the Ravens over Marino and the Dolphins every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Edit: Can you just rip into them for once Harbs?

Yeah. Trade Joe. Ravens need to trade Joe, while they still have value for him. I wouldnt mind seeing him getting a chance to succeed some where else.
