does anyone here still believe we have a chance??
I keep a little ounce of hope in my back pocket.

Without the timeouts that hope is small.

I say we just git rid of all the receivers in the off season and just start fresh. I swear, if ozzie keeps all the ones we have and says "well we got to the 2nd round of the playoffs with the receivers we have" I will flip a s***

Mason? I think that was our last great FA pick up I can remember.
He was the last great one, but we might have been in even more trouble this year without Matt Birk, Kelley Washington, and second half of the year Foxworth.

Last or only?
That's why I threw in "great". Honestly I can't recall any other great FA pick up.

Well I was going to mention Foxworth but when he plays bad...

Now the true fans will have to face the Indy fans when they show up on Monday, after our casual fans talked some much trash garbage during the week.

Well so much for the resting and losing after a bye. I guess there is a first time for everything..... this team needs to realize just how close they are to getting over the hump but just they can't. Seems like Flacco is going to be 3-2 and looks like he is starting to become a QB who can't win the big games when it matters. Back to the drawing board guys, let's look ahead to the draft and who we can get at 25.

I don't care if we lose, but come on can we at least score a td.
That's highly doubtful at this point. We might not even get another field goal.

Another drop by Joe! Oh, wait, he's not the receiver. He's also not the corner that can't cover anyone. Or the lineman that can't stay still. Or the team that can't get a call. Or the guy that keeps fumbling. Yeah, darn that Joe Flacco, he's not the guy that can leadus to the promised land.

The only good thing about these losses this season is that it shows us what this team needs to work on for next season:

- Finishing games; by having been competitive in every loss (save for this one), this team has shown how close it is to greatness.
- More tempo on offense; Flacco showed earlier in the season he's almost ready to take control, but Cam Cameron needs to hand him the reins while Flacco needs to work on his urgency at the beginning of games.
- Sticking to assignments on defense; this defensive unit improved after the bye week because they began to trust the scheme, and it showed.
- More aggression on offense; forget striving for balance, just find what works and stick to it early in the game and keep attacking.
- Discipline; the Ravens have been their own worst enemy, which is better than being blown-out but still ends in a loss nonetheless.

It looks like a lot of work, but it's really not. All that this team needs to work on, can be polished over the course of a standard offseason.

As for draft needs, those will develop quickly enough, but for now, this team has work to do, but not nearly as much as we assume.

for those saying we need to cut our receivers they are all free agents after the season I believe so maybe better targets gets joe more wins

Trade Flacco? Do you really think Troy Smith could do a better job? PLEASE.

I'd much rather see new WRs.

And if you're so anti-Flacco guess that means a handle change is in order.

I want Flacco traded, while Ravens still have trade value for him. So we can see how good Troy is.
Oh that's ripe.....if I weren't so tired I'd be laughing at that.
