All The Best From England

9 posts in this topic

Greetings Ravens fans,(My first post)

I,m a Ravens Fan From the UK ,of about 3 years now,(I choose to make my team in Baltimore,A Long story and one I will only tell on a dark rainy night).

I would just like to offer my humble support along with the rest of the Purple clad army thats about to embark on the Colts this Saturday.

Last week's game with the Patriots was just great, discipline was the Key (It won us The Patriots game, and lack of it lost us the Steelers game)So if we play with the same intensity like last week, then it's going to be a tough 4 Quarters for the Colts indeed.

I would like to offer the boys all the luck For tomorrow (But I dont think it's going to come down to luck, just good old fashioned Ravens Football Will do the Trick).

End of Ramble

Hoo yes I forgot
GO RAVENS.
See you all next week for the AFC Champs ;)

Welcome, Ravennight!

I'll be waiting to hear the long story about why you became a Ravens fan, but until then...

I was in England in 2007 for the Colts/Ravens game. Ended up watching the game at some huge sports bar in Trafalgar Square. I think the door handle was a baseball bat if I recall. Anyways, that whole day we traveled around England and I got to see real life Ravens at Tower of London. Beautiful country.

Anyways hopefully, tomorrow's outcome is better this year than it was then.

Welcome! I love seeing people from overseas cheering for our team because we're not plastered all over the media so if you like us, that means you know something about what real football looks like!

Great comments about discipline, it will most certainly be imperative for us if we want to impose our will this week like we did last Sunday!

GO RAVENS!

Welcome to the board. I actually can't wait to hear the story. England is on the top of my list of places I want to visit. Thanks for your kind words, and I agree they just have to play like a Raven and everything will fall into place.

Welcome to the boards! It's really awesome that so many people from different parts of the world stop by and show their love for the Ravens. I hope to one day be able to visit England, everyone I know that has been/lived there says that they absolutely loved it. I hope that one day you will be able to visit our beautiful state of Maryland if you haven't already.

We here have a lot of pride in the brand of American Football that the Ravens bring to the field, although many people here in the states are obsessed with having high powered offenses that score a million points it's cool to see that people from other places in the world can respect what the Ravens do and the class that they have.

Thanks everyone for the Warm welcome, Yes It,s one of my goals to see the Ravens on home turf at the M&T Stadium in Maryland, I do intend on visiting the Civil war Battle Fields in the US, (Antietam,Gettysburg Etc) and on the Way catch a Ravens game, That would be great, just need to save and let my money situation level out a bit first.

I really wished this schedual for the Colts game was Sunday,I will be out from home on Saturday and will have to rely on phoning in for the score updates,No matter The Boys will do what needs to be done, This really is THE deciding game, Not just a loss and we are out,but if we win, I think we,ll go on and win the all darn thing.

May it Rain Purple in Indianapolis This saturday.

God Bless the Purple army
