Who Are You Rooting For In The Nfc?

28 posts in this topic

Which NFC team do you want to represent in the Superbowl. If the Ravens make the Superbowl, yea, you would root for them, but who in the NFC would you prefer. Or if the Ravens lose, *cough* won't happen *cough* (knock on wood, knock on wood), who would you want to make the Superbowl and win it.

Your four teams: Saints, Cardinals, Vikings, Cowboys.

Saints- Once the Aints, the Saints could make franchise history
Cardinals- Looking for revenge from last year, and with a quarterback with a great story, Kurt Warner
Vikings- Do you want Brett Favre to ride off in the sunset with a Superbowl appearance with the Vikings?
Cowboys- Or do you want Romo to finally win in the playoffs, thus ESPN turn into Cowboys Networks?

If the Ravens make it: the Vikings. We need our revenge. For the Ravens, this is the revengeoffs, and the Vikings would be a good way to finish it. Also, make Brett Favre cry as he came so close, yet so far.

If the Ravens dont make it: The Saints. I feel sorry for their fans, and they deserve some sort of satisfaction. Also, Brees would need some revenge himself against the Chargers (that is if they make it).

If the Ravens win, I cheer for the Ravens throughout.

If the Ravens lose, I cease to cheer for the AFC at all and will cheer for the Saints. Two words: Marques Colston.

I hate the Cowboys since they cost me 7 bucks from a bet I had with my friend :/ but they are pretty exciting to watch. They seem like a real complete team to me.

I like the Vikings some what but I don't wanna go through all the media hype again about Brett Favre if he wins one this year.

Cardinals are okay, they have a great passing attack, not sold on their defense. Too one dimensional imo, it's just not fun watching them for some reason, except for that GB vs AZ game last week.

So for now, I'd root for the Saints. They've never been to the Superbowl in their team history, it'd be neat to see them go up there, but with their 3 consecutive losses during the season kind of worries me. But I think they'll beat the Cardinals.

I wanted the Packers to make to the Superbowl so then we could blow them out 52-0,but I can dream.(Or play Madden franchise mode and make it happen.)

But out of the choices left,I'll be rooting for the Cardinals.

im rooting for the cards and vikings cuz I want to see favre vs Warner in the NFCCG. If thats the case ill be rooting for the vikes since we have a better chance of beating them than the cards.

I tend to root for Arizona (gotta love Fitz) or San Francisco (Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis) in the NFC. So, by process of elimination, I'm backing the Cards in the NFC.

It is good to see the Saints getting some success though, seeing how dismal they usually are. The Cowboys though... a small portion of my family is part of the Cowboy fanbase, and it annoys me. I cannot stand Tony Romo, Jerry Jones... or... well, the entire franchise. So I can't say I'm looking for Dallas to succeed very much. As for the Vikes... well, The Brett Favre Episode of "As the NFL Turns" rubbed me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, Favre has played fantastically this season, and is probably the largest reason why the Vikings are where they are, but meh.

My 2 favorites heading in to the playoffs were Philly and GB. I guess now I'll take anyone other than the Cowboys.

gotta go for the Saints - they never win anything and the city has been through a lot.
Doesn't really matter tho - our team will bring home the victory!! :baltimore-ravens:

I hate the Cowboys, always have, always will, so no way in Hades do I want them to win anything other than first pick in the draft. And I am sick to death of Brett Favre, so not cheering for the Vikings either. I'm a sucker for the underdog therefore either the Cards or the Saints will do.

My definition of a really bad afternoon would be a Cowboys/Colts Super Bowl. No blue!

Vikings since my SB hope is Ravens vs Vikings: all purple, plus I'd love a payback.

Also can't stand the Cowboy Bandwagon.

Honestly, I have not given the NFC a thought right now. With the Ravens in the mix, I rarely do.

I too though really like the idea of a Purple Bowl. With a Ravens' win naturally. :)

I WOULD have rooted for the Jets all the way if they made it and we didn't had Rex Ryan not chosen to join Bart Scott in the trash talk about us earlier in the season.

Now, probably the Saints in the unlikely event the Ravens are not there. It will be hard to shake the "Aints" mantra without a SB win.

My worst nightmare. I doubt I'd even watch it.

Likewise. I've already talked to my father in law (we always watch the SB together) and if it comes to that, we're rewatching Boise State's first Fiesta Bowl instead. SB commercials really don't impress me and neither do either of those teams.

I haven't really been paying much attention of the NFC. I think the Ravens can beat any one of those teams though, and I'd LOVE another crack at Minnesota. The only team that we MIGHT be even with in terms of media attention is Arizona, otherwise it's going to be all about the Cowboys, or Favre, or Brees if we see one of those three teams.

Saints all the way. New Decade, let's get some new fresh teams winning the SB in this decade unlike last decade where it was the Patriots and Steelers with a sprinkle of Ravens, Bucs, Colts and Giants. Go Saints!!!!!
