Troy Smith is Baltimore's future. It's time for Billick to stop putting his faith in a mediocre Kyle Boller and benching Smith just because he's a rookie. His stats show that he can carry the load. Look at Boller: Banged up, throws INTS, looses fumbles, etc.

Now look at Troy Smith: 2/3 (that pass was just a little too far), 1 rushing TD in less than two and a half minutes.

Finally look at our record: 4-9, and no playoff hopes at all this season

Who do you think should start? We are playing Miami, and if we don't start Troy Smith, we'll most likely be a laughing stock. See what Smith can do, the season is ALREADY OVER.

I'm putting my name on the petition!!... Boller is a 5th year player, and he doesn't look all that much better than he did his rookie year. It's time to develop the offense around Troy Smith, and start attacking opposing defenses, instead of playing "scared offense" like we usually do...

The thing about Boller is that every snap is an adventure. You have no idea whats gonna happen next. Something awesome? Something awful? Nothing at all? All of the above are very real possibilities.

Last year when Boller replaced McNair in a game, my friends and I cringed with every snap (because he has a 10% career snap-fumble rate) and it made for an exciting, if not nerve wracking game.

there's no need for use of Language and tone like you have displayed here......yes we have struggled and yes our team isnt where it needs to be at BUT with the way these Rookie/younger players are progressing...the future does in fact look very bright for us.

The kid's got the talent that it takes to be a champion. I hope to see more of him next week in a game that does not particularly matter to us.

It would be nice to get him more accustomed to the NFL before possibly being the #1 guy next year.

Troy stats might look good but when you are losing 44 - 7 to the colts and they are just playing a prevent defense anybody would have look good as the bmore QB, and as for Miami they too were playing a prevent defense in the final few minutes of the game, so we would not score a TD, and they have one of the worst defense in the league. The real peoblem with this team is they are getting old, all the injuries and, I belive it is time for a new coach. I mean you are at the 1 yard line and he is afraid to go for it. Like we have anything to lose at this point. Please you want to waste writing a petition for a QB write one for a new coach

actually, Miami has one of the worst RUSHING defenses in the league. Their pass D is ranked 4th...
