well Packers Woodson won the DPOY,honestly I feel it should have been the other way around with Revis winning, but they are both great corners

I don't understand why they had the MVP award before the DPOY award,it should have been the other way around!I also think awards should be giving at the end of the season, after the Superbowl.

They're regular season awards, just like OROY and DROY etc.

Revis should have won... his D was #1 in Yards and Points and no WR could get past him. Period.

I agree when they showed the WR that Revis shut down during the year and held under 35 yds I was like wow.....sadly Revis might help drive the Jets into the AFCCG which I hope he doesn't cuz I do not want the Sanchize to be compared to Joe

I think Woodson had the larger impact on his defense than Revis did, though. The Jets D had other playmakers, whereas Woodson's individual play dictated the performance of the Packers D.

Also, similar to last year, Woodson situationally played safety but was moved primarily backed to CB after the injury to Al Harris. His versatility defines the award in itself.

I don't really buy that. If you ask the other 30 GMs (Jets and GB not included) in the NFL who they would want between Revis and Woodson, 20-25 would probably say Revis. He completely takes away the opposing team's top WR, without exception, and still gets the INTs despite limited opportunities.

I would agree though I don't think that warrants a 28 to 14 vote. I wonder how many of those votes were a sort of backlash against Rex Ryan. Not trying to go all conspiracy theory but really, how many of the voters were sick of his comments?
