Yet the Colt's still won. Interesting.

Yea, I didn't say you guys didn't win. I said your godly pass rushers were held to zero sacks. Interesting.

If you are coming to Indy I think you can hitch a ride with the Oriols. They will be in the big Mayflower trucks that have a sign on the back that reads "Next stop Indy". J/K

Last game Freeny was battling a thigh injury but will be 100 percent game time.
But your tackles are very good.

Last game Freeney was playing against a rookie who was out of position. I guess he does well when the tackle blocking him doesn't have a high ankle sprain and he's not 100% (which was the case in his two good games against Ogden).

He'll mostly be drawing Gaither this go 'round. It should make for an interesting battle. I think Gaither will get some help, while Mathis will likely be handled by Oher on the other side.

Gaither will probably have fun smashing the smallish Freeney into the ground in the running game...

Funky,

You make it sounds a if Santi did the Ravens a "favor" when he fumbled on the 1 or that he did it on purpose.

I am pretty sure Ed Reed and Ray Lewis had a little something to do with it....

Yeah but his argument was the effectiveness of the pass rush, and not the final result.

 I know, right? It's not like Santi was saying "You know what? I'm gonna go right ahead and fumble right here, because, heck - a 2-point lead is HUGE!"

"Past performance is no indication of future success"

This is what my broker used to tell me (before I gave him the boot) and I believe it applies to Football games as well.

Having said that, your post offers compelling reasons why this Baltimore Ravens team will beat Indy
this Saturday. Not so much because we've done this kinda thing before, but more because we match up well
against the defense they'll have on the field.

What the Ravens have done in the past is not nearly as important as what they do Saturday.

But I agree with you....

Actually Oher is a natural left tackle and before his playing days are done he will be on the leftside of the Ravens offense. I like the Mathias match up should be a classic one. As for Freeney vs Ogden days, Freeney owned Ogden.
But the Gaither vs Freeney match up will be good one to watch also. Both will win some and lose some.

No I agree Ray Lewis made a great play knocking the ball lose on the Ravens one yard line.

You should ask Tennessee fans how the Ravens won last year. Yes the Colts/Ravens final score was only 17-15 but Santi did fumble on the one yard line, the score could have been easily 24 -15 but thats old news. Colts defense also made a goal line stand in that game too. Thought I help you remember some other key stats in that game.
24 to 15 without the fumble? Hey, defense is part of the game you know.

Colts have not played football in 2-3 weeks, and if we pounce on em early it'll show. and IF we win, guess what the national media will be talking about. The Ravens are great? Of course not! The only reason they won was because the Colts had too much rest and weren't in the flow! DUH!
Well thats how it works. A previous poster mentioned that the Colts barely won there games this year. The media was saying the other team lost not that we won. It happens to all the teams and I agree is discouraging when credit is not given to where credit is due.

BTW good game against the Pats last week.
