Our Losses

5 posts in this topic

If you were to say a team went 9-7 it seems like a mediocre but somewhat above average team, but I have felt the entire season that we would have been much better if the secondary was together the whole year and Suggs was there healthy. But look at our losses

New England 21-27
Indy 15-17
Cincy 14-17
Minnesota 31-33
Cincy 7-17
Green Bay 14-27
Pittsburgh 20-24

Seven losses, all of the completely winnable games except for Green Bay where we looked absolutely terrible despite the score. New England is taken care of along with Cincy and Pitt, and the NFC teams dont matter. If we hold the colts to 17 again I like our chances. Pitt and San Diego are our only two quality wins really, but with the close scores with the teams we lost to, its obvious that we are able to play better than a 9-7 team; one of the reasons we just spanked NE.

Our team is overlooked sometimes.

True. For every fan of a sports team sometimes you feel like your team will lose a game. I never feel this way about the Ravens. I really feel that they can beat anyone. I guess thats the difference between watching the NFL and when I watch college. Sometimes I know my Canes are outmatched, but that will end soon too.

sorry, have to ask.....why do you have a Wizards avatar and a hockey sig on a Ravens board?

I know the answer, so its basically retorical, but just find it humorous.....
