So,I came across this article while browsing ESPN...looks like people don't believe in us again...how unexpected lol:

Well to be fair, this article was written before this Wild Card game against the Patriots.

That's very true. Makes the article a little misleading.

That said, I'd prefer to be the underdogs. That way, if we lose, it doesn't sting as much; and if we win, it makes it even sweeter to rub it in people's faces, just pointing at the scoreboard.

Only read this on my phone, but it seems it was written yesterday, so todays game would have not effected anyones opinion yet, if at all.

Edit - Chi Town beat me to it

Yes, so no less than 5 minutes after we beat the Patriots, you will NEVER guess what i was seeing online. "Oh, they have no, 0, none, nada chance to beat the Indianapolis... Indy. If i recall, i heard a lot of this all week before today's game... I think they like being the underdog, it has worked so far.

I don't want any of those talkin heads to pick the ravens...who cares what they say...I jus feel like we gone beat the colts this team is motivated and out for blood...ravens are road warriors the colts are not consistently gone stop our run and there secondary is young so I expect mason too make some plays manning gone make some plays but I believe in our secondary and the way their taken pride in knockin fools out when they do make a catch

Hmmm I like it this way. It will fuel the team if it knows it's the underdog. Also, it's fun proving people wrong week after week! It just leaves you with a good feeling of accomplishment.

Flacco doesn't look like he did earlier in the year, no. He doesn't look like the quarterback who led late rallies against New England and Minnesota, or matched Rivers pass for pass to help the Ravens eke out a win on the road. He's obviously dinged up.

But, Flacco's pass to Williams down the middle of the field was a good one that should have been caught. Anytime a QB hits his receiver in the hands, it should be a catch. There was some mustard on the slant to Mason for a big third down conversion. He may not be able to throw it 40 times, but I think he can still make critical throws when we need him to.

It was also very, very cold in Foxboro. The weather is going to be fine inside that dome.

I laughed when i read "If he were healthy why, did Baltimore go out of its way to avoid the pass? "

apparently he didn't see our dominating rushing attack..haha...

I think it's only fitting we have to go thru Indy. Time to face the past and beat them down. It is our time
[/quote]

Agreed! Its almost seeming like this is our year...Peyton finally had to beat the Pats to get to the Superbowl in 07, maybe we finally have to beat Indy to get there...

If the writer knew anything about football, then why would he expect us to throw the ball when up 24 points and playing great defense?

The trend continues: if the Ravens beat a team then that team is suddenly "nobody." It even works against Lady Brady and the Pats.

i believe that the Ravens will play to the strengths that they need based upon their opponents. meaning....today....they ran the ball down the Patriots throats! there was no need to "air" the ball in this game!

however...playing against the Colts...i feel that Cam will script a very solid passing attack in order to not only keep up with the Colts but shock them by throwing the ball to multiple receivers. ALL of the Ravens receivers are waaaaaaay over due for a break out game...why not in Indy?

GO RAVENS!!

I must say I sat there after the game, hoping every single Steelers, Bengals and Patriots fan was feeling it coz of us... how beautiful!!!!

Let people doubt, undermine and hate. We aren't even suppose to be playing this game and Indianapolis is the 'best team in the NFL', right? Who is under more pressure? Indianapolis? Who has the momentum? We do. I'll take that anyday, I've seen the Colts blow up in situations like this before.

Can I get an Amen? I heard some moans about who we would have to go through to make the SB after the Oakland game. Imagine the momentum we will have if we beat BOTH the Patriots and Colts to get to the AFC Championship game. It is our time.

People are excited but the rational fans here know next week's game won't be easy.

I don't blame the Colts for thinking they'll win this game but whatever happens, it'll be a dogfight.
