Even though our track records are not very good against them. I have no doubt that our team is going to play their hearts out. May the best team win... and I hope it's the one in purple.

Because they're fast in the front 7. They're very good against little speedy backs. If we give them McGahee and McClain we'll get extra yards after contact because they're too big for the Colts.
Jones Drew 27 carries for 110. Our O-Line is better as well.
Chris Johnson 27 carries for 110 yards as well.

The Colts Ranked 24th in run defense during the regular season. Historically their rush defense is their weakest area.

The game we played in November was a very close game, IND 17- Balt 15. The guys are on fire now and they are bringing it every game. They know what is at stake and they are playing heart and soul to win. Honestly when is the last time the Colts had to fight for a hard win? I can't help but think that gives us an edge. Our last game with them was a close game and we are going to fight hard for the win this Saturday. I know what we can and will do.

I hope you realize that Rice is great at fighting for extra yards considering his low centre of gravity and all.
MJD and Rice have a lot of things in common, and from what I recall MJD usually carves them up.

I can't say that I'm super confident. But after we shut down such a vaunted passing attack, I have a little faith.
But, going up against Indy's little front 7, I can't see Rice getting it done. Willis will have to come up big for us to win that game.
Indy ended the season ranked #24 on rush defense. Patriots were ranked #13. I see no reason that Rice/McGahee/McClain can't have just as impressive, if not a more impressive, day against Indy.

Peyton is not Brady however. I take faith in the fact that in our first meeting we held Peyton to 1 TD and had 3 INTs. We held their offense to only 17 pts. Ravens can do this. We got rid of the Patriot Monkey on our backs - now let's put an end to the "Manning owns the Ravens" crap.

These playoffs is all about revenge.
It will be interesting if we and San Diego win and play in the Conference finals. Would they then get revenge? ;)

Everybody stepped up today. Few penalties, great defense, great special teams work, excellent running game. Nothing but energy. And we broke the Pats record for home playoff wins. Soooooo sweet.

While I have good faith that we will beat the Colts, I dont have the same feeling if we have to face the Chargers after that.

Their WR just completely outmatch our corners way too much. Hopefully the Jets will win and we get to face them.

Think you're way off the mark on this one... Dynamite does come in small packages, and Ray Rice is 'da bomb'... Colts shouldn't blink... and as long as the Ravens maintain momentum, it's onward and upward to the Bowl! This will be the capstone on Ray Lewis' career... what a way to close it out...GO RAY...Go Ravens!

I just watched the 20/20 from a few weeks ago on Michael Oher's story. I am sooooooooo glad we got him. What an absolute beast.

Having both Gaither and Oher in there was huge. Last game we lost Gaither early on, and while Michael performed well, he was very fresh compared to now and this O-line has gelled.

todays game was great. still in awe. Hopefully we can put the shock in peyton boy next week.
Probably not going to happen. "Peyton boy" has the best protection in the league and more weapons on offense than you can imagine. The ball will be spread around and they won't quit. Dallas Clark will have a big game and help the COLTS to a win. Our D may give up some yards to the run but not the points. Way too fast! great game though! i loved seeing Brady get knocked around.

Won't you guys be rusty after not playing for basically 3 weeks?

We're hot right now, and that's what the playoffs is all about.

Oh they're scared. Rusty players facing a hot,run it down your thoat, defensive team.

This is their fan's defense mechanism. Talk up a big game while your legs shake.

I hate to nitpick here, but Manning only had 2 int's in that game. One by Landry, and on by Reed. I hate to say it, but the read on the Reed interception was a thing of beauty.

Yeah, rush defense isn't a strong point of the Colts D...but I do believe they are a little better than #24.

I think the last two "Forfeit" games by the Colts skewed the stats a little bit.

One key player that was missing from that game was CB Kelvin Hayden. Tim Jennings got way too much playing time in the game and that is never a good thing for the Colts. That could be a factor. I think Mathis may have been dinged up in that game as well.

Also, you need to factor in the Colts home field advantage. Either way, it should be a grinder.

I fear Flacco going back in | 4-10 (40%) for 34 yards 1 INT | 0 TDs scares me.

Will the run and defense be able to cover Flaccos inability to deliver the ball and the wide outs ability to recieve it. Demetrius Williams had a nice route down the middle. The ball was ill placed. He is the only reciever (minus double team Mason) that can relieve Flacco.

Don't let us fall behind.

Trust me they wonte be rusty, they played 3 of 4 Qtrs against the jets 1 of 4 Qtrs against the Bills plenty to come out sharp, and weve been running a Mini camp style O vs D all week to work on our game, and we have a small front??? Dwight freeney and robert mathis will play a big roll in stopping the run along with two 6 foot 2-3 300+ pounds run stuffing Danny muir and antonio johnson it will be a great game I respect the Ravens 100%

That would be sweet redemption.

Yeah the COlts O is better all around. Manning seems to be less rattled when things don't go his way (although he isn't afraid to show emotion - which usually doesn't affect his play) and his line is much more solid.

IF, and I mean IF, we win (not saying we can't, though) I think I'd rather face the Jets, since the Chargers' WRs/TEs are like at least almost a foot taller than our DBs and faster than our LBs.

This reminds me of our divisional game last year. Where we had to go into Tennessee to face the #1 seed, the Titans.

Nobody gave us any chance. We were leading the league with players on IR, we were playing off fumes w/ not having a bye. The Titans were the last unbeaten team in the league and had the best overall record.

We went into Tennessee an eked out a win in a physical, hostile environment.

It's almost the exact same script. Except this year it's in a dome.
