Pats fan here.

Congratulations. No bull****. No excuses. You kicked our butts.

Now, go beat Indy! Harbaugh has to get into Peyton's head this week about throwing the Jets game. If you go out and smack them in the mouth in the first quarter the way you knocked us all over the field at the beginning today, you have a very good chance of beating them.

Congrats again!

Let's call this "Beantown Beatdown"

The Ravens held the Pats to less than 200 yards total offense

Team rushing 234 rushing yards vs the Pats 64

This should quiet the calls for Mattingly's head, I would think

And a game ball to Coach Harbaugh, for high fiving the Ravens Fans that made the trip to
Foxboro! Class Act!

Congrats to our Ravens. I know Flacco didn't throw alot but we didn't need it. We do need him to get healthy for next Saturday, and Heap too. Hope he is alright. Oline, Rice and McGahee really nice job. Defense... The whole unit including the secondary outstanding. Not sure why we didn't challange the punt in the 2nd qtr. willing to bet the communication from the booth to the sideline was not working at just that time. it is NE. None of that mattered. Today the Ravens were the better football team and they proved it. Its time to go to Indy for a repeat performance.

Not to get ahead of ourselves but if we beat the Colts I would much rather play the Jets than the Chargers because you all saw how we played in cold weather today..,however i think you're right with who we'll play.
Yeah I wasn't trying to get ahead either, thats why I put If we beat them. Matchup wise, the Ravens probably matchup better with the Jets than the Chargers. The Chargers are red hot and they have won like 11 straight I believe and I just can't see the Jets beating the Chargers. I like what Rex has done, and I give him credit for pulling off the win against the Bengals, but the Chargers are a completly different team. That's why I believe the Chargers and Ravens will meet in the Championship game if the Ravens can knock of Manning and the Colts.

Why not? Either we beat the Colts or we're done for the season. I (and others) prefer to think we will win next week!

We match up well with the Colts. It should be a good game.

The chargers are scary good lately. They will probably stomp the jets.

It would be cool to play the Jets and Rex. A little extra kick to the intensity on D.

Overall I am extremely Impressed with our Defense. We started the year with a monster offense and a bad D....then there was a vice versa point. I think for the past few games we have tried to make them meet in the middle and they have now clicked together.

I mean, we put up 24pts in the first quarter! because our O and D was firing on all cylinders together. If we can play the same type of ball next week against Indy, we are going to the Conference Championship.

One negative from this game though, our Passing attack was not very good, but hey who needs it when Rice was averaging over 6ypc for most of the game. Lets keep this momentum guys because Lucas Oil field is our next battleground and it WILL be General vs General

Manning vs. Lewis

ding ding!

Excellent play calling, great discipline and focus, cant ask much more for having the most penalty yards in the regular season.

I love that we limited our penalties in todays game.... I liked how our corners kept receivers in front of them and made the tackles..

It also helped having the ref crew that recorded the 2nd fewest penalty yards during the regular season.

They let us play out there. Which is what we needed for once.

You know, this past decade has shown that the Patriots really have become "America's Team". Everyone wanted them to win all the time and it seemed that they could do just that. I'm not taking anything away from their 4 Lombardi Trophies, but the Ravens took it away from them yesterday.

All last week the announcers were saying it was impossible. That the Ravens couldn't "control their emotions" in a game of this caliber. Well, STERLING SHARPE, we did just that. The Pats looked lost, Tom Brady didn't even have an opportunity to beg for a roughing the passer penalty throughout the entire game. We DID our job and we did it well.

The thing that really bugs me about this whole situation is that we are already counted out against the Colts. It really blows my mind. Not 5 hours removed from our thrashing of the Patriots and the announcers of the NFL Network and ESPN are already counting us out. That's OK, though. That's how I want it. I don't want ANYONE on our side at any point in this playoff run. They have hated us since coming into the league in '96 and even loathed us even more with our Super Bowl victory. It's time the entire league and their cohorts to understand one thing--the Ravens are real...we talk hard...and we hit harder.

Bring on Indy.

Amen, I am with you but deep down we knew it would be like that. We can, and I believe we will beat Indy. I do not think it will be as easy as our thrashing of the Pats, but I think we will get the job done and then as per this week;nobody will give us a chance vs the next guy. Don't worry we won a super bowl that way not to long ago.

+1
let them talk buddy!!! we do not need anybody. we just need the officials let us play like they did yesterday!! every team in this league is scared when they play against ray and friends. u could see it in brady´s eyes that he wasn´t very excited facing the defense again and again.
who cares what some guys say about us!! we all know better!! they will all know better when ray got his second ring and became superbowl mvp again!!!!!!
when we play like yesterday there is no teram that could scare us!!! underdogs as we are will show up great!!!!

Our team loves being the underdog.
I DO NOT want to hear how the Ravens are going to beat Indy. I love hearing how we cannot contend with Indy.

It makes the wins even more bittersweet! ;)

I must also add- Today I am VERY PROUD TO BE A RAVENS FAN!
Our team did us and Baltimore proud!!!!

I love how the media doesn't give the Ravens a chance to win. It makes the wins so much more sweeter.

Yesterday was the perfect example when Boomer Esiason on CBS said the Pats wouldn't have much to worry about this game and could overcome the loss of Welker. During half-time analysis, he actually seemed angry the Pats were getting creamed. I couldn't stop laughing at the TV.

IMO the major difference with our defense was we played aggressively. We were hitting their wr's, blitzing on 1st and 3rd downs, Reed and Landry were all over the field, Walker was laying out vicious hits, Foxworth essentially shut down Moss, R.Lewis was hitting gaps like a bat out of hell.

Aside from the 1 scoring Patriots drive-- we shut them down offensively.

Another great thing about the win was all the much-maligned players stepping up. It was great seeing Foxworth shut his man down and play physical, the same with Carr. Not only did Frank Walker not draw a penalty but he broke up a pass and had the best hit of the game on Ben Watson. Even Suggs, who people have roasted on this forum came up big.

Clayton only managed one grab during the game but the one he did pull down was huge.

Not from me.
I love not having an over marketed/favored/bandwagoned team.
No offense, but how many more times do I need to see Peyton Manning in commercials. UGH!

Dude,, the last time i was this proud of the ravens was when we won the Super bowl. They played an outstanding game even the secondary looked great at times. I did have my doubts on this game before kick off. I was worried about which Ravens teams would show up and the Beast, the monster or whatever you want to call it showed up.Somebody lite a fire under the team ****** and we came out with the fire still lite... We won this game in the 1st Quarter. Keep up that intensity boys...

Not hates us, over looks us. Like someone said already though, it is fine by me. We do our talking on the field and then the wins mean so much more.

At the end of the game. Habaugh got all excited to dump Gatorade on two players.

One was Kelly Washington, since he was a former Patriot. Does anybody know the other guy he dumped Gatorade on?
