Apparently, Mike Holmgren and the Brown's front officer were only willing to give Cribbs a raise to 1.5 million dollars a year. Which is really a slap in the face for someone who touched the ball 79 times this year, not including punts and kickoffs.

I would love to have him here because of his explosiveness on Special Teams and how he can really give our offense a new look with wildcat or whatever. He is good running the ball, he is good catching the ball and he was a former QB.

Troy Smith looks to be going this year so why not take a chance on Cribbs. He is a football player. Im not stating the obvious but I am merely saying he truly is an athlete and can play multiple positions.\

Thoughts? As Screw it, I'll make a poll.

I just said 3rd round pick randomly, there is no evidence supporting that at all.

You have to ask yourself how would he fit on a team that doesn't need his style of offense, which is no matter what give it to cribs. He has significant upside on special teams but on offense we don't need him. So why spend the money?

Exactly. I voted "yes" but on second thought, it wouldn't make sense to get him. He's an outstanding return-man and a great gunner too but on this team, that's all the team would need him for. He isn't much of a receiver(which is what this team needs) and this team certainly doesn't need him to carry the rock as much as Cleveland does.

With a third round pick, the Ravens could get a TE for the future or someone to replace Pryce.
