Big D: The Mavs. Vs The 'boys

Ok so Mark Cuban has been very outspoken in lashing out at the NFL for scheduling the Philly/Dallas game at the same time the Mavericks have a game.

Does he have a right...a point...or should he just put up and shut up?

He should shut up. Nobody watches the NBA or at least nobody watches regular season NBA. They play like 80 games and about 50% of the teams make the playoffs anyway.

Personally, I like Cuban. He usually amuses me, and it's nice to see an owner who's sitting courtside, getting into the game. Saying that nobody watches the NBA "or at least regular season" is ignorant. It's not the NFL, but there are quite an amount of people who do watch the regular season of NBA, me being one of them. What does the amount of games have to do with anything? Or how many teams make the playoffs? Give me a good year, and I love seeing how the final seeds in the conferences pan on, which in turn makes for an awesome post season. Hell, NHL plays the same amount of regular season games (82) and has the same amount of teams from each conference make the playoffs (8), and has the same amount of teams in the league (30).

As much as I do like Cuban, he should have held his tongue in regards to weighing the value of a Mavs game against the value of a Cowboys (*gag*) playoff game. However, he's not known for not speaking his mind, it's what he does. Whether it's amusing or controversial, it's just Mark Cuban. Personally, a home game against the Jazz wouldn't be that big a draw anyways. I know, Cuban's not used to the Cowboys making the post season, but he should have known that the NFL Playoffs are a big deal, and it's rather pointless to speak out against scheduling for them. No matter how much you love your team.
