For his 167-yard, 3-TD performance against the Oakland Raiders, RB Willis McGahee has won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for Week 17. (National Football Post)

McGahee is still eligible for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award for Week 17, as well. (NFL.com)

Well-deserved for a great outing in a crucial game.

Very well deserved. I've said it before- but that stiff arm on the way to the end zone was one of the most entertaining I have ever seen. A great performance.

Well what can you say about Willis, he saved our season and was absolutely CLUTCH in the last game. I think the big run where he dummies Eugene with his stiff arms is one of the plays of the year for us.

Quality wins out over quanity,Willis' yards were more meaningful and just plain clutch! Jim Rome's final burn yesterday (1/5) was on just how sick that head slap was, he flatout called it the best! If you can find it on ESPN.com it's worth a listen. Congrats Willis, steppin' up big time!

Yeah I'm surprised 256 yards didn't cut it.

But whatever, it was the Raiders vs Willis Mcgahee on sunday, and Willis won.

If he had done that in a meaningful game, maybe... but 167 yards, 3 TDs and that stiff arm won me and everyone else over.

It doesnt matter. The broncos are better than the raiders and anytime someone goes over 250yds thats pretty special.

I love Willis. After the way last season ended for him, I truly hope he helps to carry us to Super Bowl victory, the guy deserves it.

Then we can trade him for a legit WR or CB because his stock will be up.

So, do you love him or want to trade him?

Both. If you love something set it free and receive a sweet CB or WR, isn't that how the saying goes?

I'm saying good RBs are a dime a dozen when you have a capable offensive line. Now that his value has risen, let's address our weaknesses.

That was a no-brainer.... as should Willis winning the FedEx Ground POW.
Far from it. Jamaal Charles ripped off 259 yards and 2 touchdowns in Denver. Not dismissing the efforts of Willis, but it's far from a cakewalk!

Sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm picking on you lol but that performance did extinguish Denver's playoff hopes.
