Like I have mentioned before, I've sold jerseys before. I was going to try and sell some on here, but I decided against it. I now am making big bucks (for a 14 year old) selling something else. If I were you, I would get the "Unauthentic authentic" jerseys. They actually cost about $20 each. On eBay, you are getting ripped off for what they really are. I would buy them for $20, and sell them for $40 at my school. Trust me when I give you this information, and say that I am 100% confident that O know what I'm talking about. The "unauthentic authentic" ones are the same exact types that I was selling. The site that I used was hey-b2b.com . I always used Paypal with these guys. Never trust them using Western Union, or some other money transfer method. They cost $21.50 each when you pay with Paypal, and shipping is $18.00 flat rate to the U.S. Now, if I were you, I'd do their "deal", which is free shipping if you buy 5 items. So, thats $107.50 total for 5 jerseys. If they don't have a big enough stock, you can try searching for another company by using Tradekey.com . It's a business to business site. You search for something you want to buy, and just look down the list for something that peaks your interest. Try to find something that has free shipping, and definitely offers Paypal method. They are all China-based companies, and offer the same quality in goods. Don't take any of their BS, saying that they have better quality than others. They are all practically the same. Well, there you go. This might sound dumb coming from a 14 year old, but I can guarantee you that I know more than anyone on here about this. I'm pretty much an expert in the matter. I did make quite a lot of money selling these, so I've earned the title "The Business Man" around school. I'm shooting for Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management's Undergraduate Program, so I think this should help with my application (it actually does, lol). Well, I hope I helped some people out :)

So I order a "premium" jersey off of NFL shop because I already have a few replica's and figure what they hey why not pay 30 bucks more and get the premium. The jersey comes in and this thing makes replica jersey's look like crap, just a sick jersey that I am absolutely happy with.

The only problem is that on NFL shop they seem to have a limited stock as when I bought it they only had Black and Purple Reed and Flacco's. So I was just wondering if anyone knew where to pick up more of these jersey's as they are definitely worth the extra 30 bones.

I love the legit premier #52 jersey I got on football fanatics (google 'em).

Good luck!

Thanks :) I love business for some reason, people say I'm all about money, and I'm just being a greedy person, but it's not all about that. Hell, I'd be the Joker and burn some of it, just to be a bad ******, lol :P It's about the principal. Good luck with your businesses! :)

Thanks and good luck to you as well!!

I have been lucky enough to get where I am without a college education, but strongly stress that my kids go when they grow up.

Do your parents proud; go, kick some butt and help them retire early!!

Oh yeah....GO RAVENS!!!!

I have an authentic (on the field) Flacco jersey that I found on ebay for $65. Be careful because there are a lot of fakes out there, but they are pretty easy to spot. There are good deals to be had though.

Good, coz no way can I afford $259.00 or whatever then pay like 30% more because of exchange rates!!!

Do not tell the people at Northwestern that you were participating in illegal activities. At best they'll just deny you from consideration to the program, at worst they'll report you to the federal authorities. Importing counterfeit jerseys is a federal crime. Think about it this way.. Would you tell them you sold drugs, or you sold stolen electronics? Just because it is profitable does not make it ok. In a time in which we are stressing ethics in B school, I don't think you want them to know you have questionable ethics from the get go.

I have to agree, selling chinese knock-offs on eBay probably isn't something to brag about on a business school application. Besides, housewives do the same thing.

Lol, I wasn't planning on telling them that. I was just going to explain that as a football player, I couldn't get a job, sos I decided to make some money by setting up my own little business. Plus, look at 21. I know it may be a movie, but universities only frown down upon illegal activities. They admire creative stories. A "wow story" would be something like I was selling drugs to stay alive, but I rose above it and took the path of education. It's not like I'm doing that now, and obviously I wouldn't share that, but you get the point.

EDIT: And importing fake jerseys are NOT illegal. Counterfit and fake is waaaay different. If it were the same, don't you think that many websites would be shut down? Or at least monitored. Plus, if it were illegal, how would customs inspections pass it through the border?

EDIT 2: IF, and it's a big "IF" important and selling fake jerseys were illegal, reporting me wouldn't harm me at all. First of all, I'm not doing it at that point. Second, let me use an analogy: If I told a cop that I'm addicted to drugs, he couldn't arrest me. On what charges? Using it BEFORE? Even if they test me positive for it, I won't go to prison. Lastly, I'm pretty sure the feds have much more important things to do than to crack down on fake jerseys. On last thing: my dad worked at Northwestern, and personally talked to the Dean. I've had conversations with them before. From what I'm getting, they admire creative ways to make money, and any 14 year old who can establish a successful business is definitely someone they are looking for. Of course, they need the SAT scores to back that up, but...... yeah........ Don't wanna see this thread closed on an account of an argument, so..... yeah......... :)

The "non-authentic authentics" (aka fakes) are everywhere.

Like someone said earlier, grab one from Ebay for about $50-$75 from a high rated seller and then keep buying if you like them.

Over the years, I have purchased a purple Jamal Lewis, purple Mcgahee, two Reeds (one in a case), two Ray Lewis probowls (one in a case) and a Flacco....damn, 7 total.

Webb is next!!
Yes sir they are, i have one fake one (Ray Lewis) and a real one (Reed). The fake was $50, while the real one was $100 ish. But the fake jersey is so damn awesome, i even prefer to wear it over the real jersey, not sure why but first of its heavier so i guess it makes it feel like im a player wearing one, and the stitched patches are so damn cool.

As long as im repping the team, i dont mind if its fake or not.

That site you posted is great the store has a MASSIVE amount of jersey's. I was thinking of ordering one but when I search 'Replithentic' some of the jersey's that come up(google) have really bubbly numbers and just don't look right. For anyone that has ordered from Overbest Mall we're the numbers on the jersey bubbly?

So does anyone own a "replithentic" jersey and how do the numbers look? Do they look normal and not bubbly because that is not what I am looking for. Thanks for the help so far.

This actually depends on the person your buying it from and such. Some are stitched on, others are 'put' on, some are felt, other like type of plastic ...

I got 2 Reeds, and 2 Lewis' that are the "fakes" I wear them playing flag football and touch football with my friends. For 35 bucks and for what I use them for its perfect, Im not gonna wear a 300 dollar jersey getting tackled to the ground lol.
