Ok Bud. Another neener neener boo boo response but I will give in. Hard to argue facts with those who have no clue!
 yea "Bud," tell me about it.
You can call me a hater and that is cool. No I do not like the Steelers or most of their fans. Just the way it is. I don't really hate anyone. This is all about football and life is a much more serios matter. I let that guide my emotion.
Porter did say exactly what I said he did. Buy the superbowl tape and hear it yourself. Had to watch it twice to be sure I heard the thug correctly. Yep dat's what he said!
You think I don't have it? Porter said, "I WAS about to feel sorry for you, but if you want to be like then....so? ...I hope you don't think Jon Kitna's gonna win it for you."
I took you out of the block bucket once thinking we just had a misunderstanding early. But that does not seem to be working and I really do not injuring jousting. So Poof!
Oh the drama.

Bet you house? 'cause I'll take that bet. If anyone initiated helmet to helmet it was Lemon. Avoiding contact with helmets is nearly impossible and happens probably on 80% of tackles AT LEAST.
(Psst - it's White. The Fins got rid of Lemon)

Agreed. The Steelers' player had his head down because he was aiming for White's chest/shoulders. White saw him coming and unfortunately lowered his head too. If any fines comes from that, I'd have to say it has more to do with the overzealous attention to head injuries than anything. They may change the rule over this, but as it stands right now, it was a legal hit. As I've already said, if it weren't Sparano would have gone ballistic and we would still be hearing about it.

I do think the Steelers have more than their share of dirty plays. This just wasn't one of them.

Oh well, cry more (directed to the author of the mentioned "article"). His whole skewed and biased point of view is absurd. The Steelers are more deserving after losing to horrible teams they should have beat. Oh yeah, who the Ravens did beat. Even the games the Ravens did lose to playoff teams were extremely close. The Steelers are no more deserving to be in the playoffs, they would not have done more "damage" in the playoffs, they would not be feared in the playoffs. It's a (stereo)typical Steeler fan who believes that no matter how the Steelers play in the regular season, they should be in the playoffs, and not only that, but be feared. Hell, I'd gladly take the Steelers in the playoffs. I'm hardly afraid of a team that lost to Kansas City, Oakland, and Cleveland, and can't close games to boot.

Your team isn't entitled to everything in the NFL because you won six rings, get over it, move on with your life.

Play nice, please. We really don't need Steeler and Bengal fans getting into it on our RAVENS forums. :34853_shakehead:

Personally, I find this little spat pretty entertaining.

True. But Palmer did not eat near as much dirt as Rothlesburger nor is he on vacation yet. Although that could change in a few hours. Carson sacked 26 times, Rothlesburger sacked 50 times. Someone needs an O-Line and a QB that does not hold the ball for 10 seconds. Not hate, just factual numbers. Not sure why somone still replying "TO ME" when I have them blocked and only see it if someone quotes them.

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it still make a noise? The age old question!

Really all I see is "This post is hidden because you have chosen to ignore posts by thewarden86 . View it anyway?" so why reply directly to me? Lets just ignore each other and keep the peace.

That was to the one you quoted Lily not you!

But if we're discussing numbers, you have to look at all of them. In a season full of huge passing numbers, Palmer's are weak and among the likes of Cassel and Hasselback. Ben (who is in the top ten for passing) may have been sacked often but the Steelers being done has less to do with him than it does their defense and running game. Palmer on the other hand isn't on vacation courtesy of Cedric Benson and not his arm.

Palmer didnt play well all year long, and is playing equally as poor today. Without Benson getting on some "i feel like playing" juice the Bengals would be 6-10.

I gotta call that unrealistic! Henry was a huge lose. The passing game was much more effective with him. Benson is not the Bengals.

While Henry was much more explosive, Andre Caldwell is an extremely capable 3 WR. You cant tell me without Benson that the Bengals win the division and goto the playoffs man.

Edit- Does that last play prove my point COH lol?

double Edit- Bobbie Williams is JUUUUUUUICED lol

It's too amazing to just have one quote from the article

What a whiner! After we beat the Pats, he goes on to the predictable "when you've won six, blah blah blah."
