A Question Regarding Clayton

Im not trying to beat a dead horse here but I honestly dont understand the Clayton situation. The past 4 weeks Ive tried to look at Claytons separation off the LOS closer than usual because I cant really watch him past 5 yards. But his seperation off the LOS isnt atrocious as one might seem. Is it Cam's gameplans week in week out that Clayton is the 4th read on any given play? Does Flacco just not even bother looking Claytons way or what? Quite honestly im not trying to be ridiculous but I really think D-Will should start next game because Clayton is wasted space, he has hardly even gotten any looks the past 4 weeks. At the very least at least Flacco looks D-Wills way. This was his worst statistical season yet, and in a season when we threw the ball more often than usual. I hate to compare QBs here, but when McNair was here Clayton almost had 1,000 yards receiving. We all say how aweful Clayton is and inconsistent but Ive tried to look at Clayton off the line the last 4 weeks and his separation off the LOS should not equal his statistical output.

I've had the same questions regarding Clayton. It's incredibly frustrating and it seems the only way this team will be be able to get much production from the #2 position is by having Demetrius start. Sadly though, the coaches like Clayton and I doubt they'd bench him.

It seems as though even when DWill was in the game Flacco gave him some looks. Clayton just seems to not get open enough to warrant looks. It is easier to dissect the game when I can see it live because the camera on TV is too close to see whats really going on.
