And I'm praying that Omar Cuff gets out of this slight slump he's been having on the ground and starts putting up monstrous numbers again like in that historic game against Delaware State University two or three weeks ago.

Especially in front of that nationally-televised audience this Friday night in the National Title game.

this game jsut shows how much we need some depth at corner. both our starters our out so its obvious Manning would pick em apart. Reed can't keep the backups from making mistakes and lets face it, Martin and Pittman aren't gonna cut it, Ivy can handle Nickel packages fine but not outside, and we need to invest a high draft pick for a up and coming corner. Boller isn't getting very good protection, and the rain doesn't help much. I'm not gonna let this game deter my hopes for this team.

It's a historic thing. Has to do with the state bird and whatnot. Long story, kinda rooted in controversy (cockfighting, I believe), but oh well. That's why I say I rep the UD Blue & Gold, not the Blue Hens...LOL

It is what it is. I could try to defend or argue it either way, but that doesn't change the score nor the W/L record.

So I'll wash my hands of any attachment beyond my control, and focus on more positive things. Like the UD game on ESPN2 this Friday! (Yes, I'm still plugging it...LOL)

Hence why I've been saying since Week 5 or 6 that it's important we draft a corner with our first pick.

QB isn't as pressing of a need, despite Boller and McNair's collective performance this season.
