Touchdown, Troy Smith! God, that sounds so cool. B)

Here's to our franchise QB. :)

Thank you, thank you very much.

I know I've done well tonight, but I owe it all to ragnorok99 for winning tonight's contest and going to the game instead of me (since I won the FIRST contest), and Raven07 for being my tag-team partner, and BaltimoreRavens.com for having this fine message board.

;)

Well I'll admit, glad to see Smith get his first NFL TD. Kudos to him.

On a completely separate note I just saw the graphic about Billick's starting QBs... who in the sam hell is Stoney Case?

That's what SHE said. ;)

J/k.

No, seriously, when I became a Ravens fan in 2003 and didn't hear about him until '04 or '05, I wondered the exact same thing. :P

He is one of the million QB's we've had. I think we have had more QB's in Baltimore than Hef has had girls in the Grotto!! Randall Cunningham even took a couple snaps for us!! Not to mention Vinny, who scored the Raven's first touchdown ever!!! There are plenty more. I'll see if I can dig up the list for you....:)

I've never seen him play before, but I am already impressed with his poise under pressure and his arm.......who knows? wouldn't it be something for the Ravens to have a problem deciding who is the starter if both of those guys (Boller and Smith) can play well and up to their potential?! who'da thunk it? :)

Vinny Testaverde, Eric Zier, Jim Harbaugh, LaScott Mitchell, Stoney Case, Tony Banks, Trent Dilfer, Elvis Grbac, Randell Cunningham, Chris Redman, Jeff Blake, Kyle Boller, Anthony Wright, Steve McNair.

There you go. That is the list of QB's that have STARTED in Baltimore. The list is long and distinguished....... or at least long!

LMAO!

For the record, Eric Zier is the only one I hadn't heard of...Stoney Case was surprising when I heard about him in '04 or '05, but wow...

For the record, I'm almost tempted NOT to hop over to BaltimoreSun.com this week to read about this game...

I'm getting kind of sick of all the negative stories, to be frank...

I know there's not much positive to talk about in a 4-9 season, but all this negativity's literally bad for my health, y'know?

Dude.. we drafted Zeier in the '95 draft I think... might of been '94. I had no clue he started for Billick in Baltimore LOL.

Well if it makes you feel any better our list of starting QBs since coming back in '99 is a mile-long list of sucktitude that involves culprits like Ty Detmer, Spergon Wynn and Kelly Holcomb.

Everything pretty much went downhill with Belichick released Kosar outright during the season. Of course that's another story for a long night but pretty much the QB situation went wayyyyyyyyy down hill after that.

You think I have a crush on Kyle, Stoney Cases eyes could make a girl melt. He played for the Tampa Bay Storm in 2007.
