If last week was our Super Bowl, does that make this game our Pro Bowl?

I sure hope not, because nobody really tries in that game.

We would like to let all of our fans know that, during the Sunday Night Football game vs. the Indianapolis Colts, the Ravens players will be sporting their all-black uniforms for the second week in a row. The 71,382 fans who were at Monday night's game vs. New England (an M&T Bank Stadium attendance record) did unbelievable job cheering on the team as we almost upset the undefeated Patriots. We thank you for your tremendous and unending support. We hope that the fans attending this Sunday's game will cheer on the Ravens just as loudly as we try to take down the defending Super Bowl Champions. Once again, if you're coming to the game and own a black jersey, we encourage you to wear it to M&T Bank Stadium as we try to black out the Colts!

Also, the authentic, alternate black jerseys worn by every Ravens player during Monday night's memorable game vs. the Patriots are being auctioned off. The money raised from the auction will benefit the team

Somebody who's going to the game on Sunday - Please make a sign for me...

In Colts colors and number style:

"19 > 18"

If Peyton Manning doesn't have nightmares Saturday night of Johnny U's ghost, then he will certainly have nightmares of Ray (dressed in all black) coming for him at full-speed!

i feel we stand a good chance in this game.....we seem to have finally found our offensive identity. though it took a while and for us to play a team like hte Patriots to find its swagger. and This season playoff wise for us is pretty much shot. but Next season looks very very promising for us. and If McGahee can get it going in this game and have the kind of day he had last week (with Freeney out on IR) and what not....should open up some oppurtunities for us with our offensive schemes.

its all about the added Emotion and internal drive that makes the players excel evn more so when they have their special Balck uni's on....plus i think its the fact that "hey.....we're wearing our Black Jerseys!!!!!!!!! lets go out there with a littel extra something and take it to em!" kinda thing. you know what i mean?

If Ed Reed doesn't play, I don't think we win.

Yeah, Ed's got a pretty good record against manning, and harrison's out so he should have more deep zones as aposed to double-up man coverage. I'm putting him down for 1 pick, and maybe a touchdown off a lateral or some crazy play. I definitely see him scoring. I watched Ed Reed highlights on Youtube for about 4 hours yesterday, and I learned 1 thing from that : that boy can take it to the house! (actually, I already knew that, so It was kind of like revision)

one player doesnt make up a defense though, just keep that in mind and anyone on the defense is more than capable of making/coming up with those "Big plays" we all want to see...Though Reed does have a sense of prescence whenever he steps onto the field.....the energy must also be captured by ALL players (reeds Teammates out there) and those player must be willing to do whatever it may take to get the Win.

Kevin Byrne just told us that Samari Rolle is out tonight. He hurt his shoulder warming up. That leaves us without McAlister and Rolle. Bleh.

Marvin Harrison's still out, so maybe that will help.

Seeing the players warm up from the sideline was incredible.

Some notes:

A 10% full M&T mustered a pretty mighty "booooo" for the Colts players when they came out to warm up.

I stood beside Cal Ripken for a bit.

I filled up a 27-shot camera within 20 minutes.

Kelly Gregg stretching is a pretty impressive sight.

Ed and Ray sang/danced/did other cool things to "In The Air Tonight" less than 10 yards away from me. Incredible.

Kyle Boller floated a beautiful pass to Ronnie Prude's feet. Prude wasn't looking when Kyle threw it, so he kind of walked into the ball, then gave it a quizzical look while Kyle slumped his shoulders.

Ogden is HUGE.
