Even after we won and are completely in the playoffs, all we kept hearing was that the Steelers were out.
Amazing.
We are in and they are not.
Enough already.

Well, they're the defending Super Bowl Champions and just lost their ability to defend their title in the postseason today, of course that's all they're talking about. That, and Steeler Nation is huge. They will always serve the majority.

1st...the Steelers are the defending champions

2nd...the Steelers has one of the largest fan base all over the nation

3rd...all i have to say to the Steelers is:

what a wonderful way for the Ravens to get in the playoffs and simultaneously knock out the Steelers! we killed 2 birds (not a raven...lol) with 1 stone!.

You should remind him that the Steelers have been around since 1933 whereas the Ravens only got here in 1996. When you break it down rings/number of seasons, they're equal.

I get that the Steelers have a bigger fanbase and are defending champions, but it did get frustrating constantly hearing what had to happen for the them to make the playoffs when it was such a longshot.

But then, the Ravens seem to do better when the media isn't praising them, so...

it's quite the conundrum.

Oh yeah I tell him about that all the time. The Ravens won the SB in about 4 years and it took the Steelers about 10 to win one. And after Bradshaw they didn't win any until Big Ben.
