Good for him, now he can focus on his rehab and trying to get back on the field, it is going to be interesting to see how the Sams/Figurs/Ross battle goes throughout training camp. I can't imagine that all 3 will be with the team come Opening Night.

Unless Cory Ross can slim down and add a bit of explosiveness to his game, it's not likely he'll be carried on the active roster, unless Yamon Figurs somehow can't cut it in training camp or the preseason. But again, it's better to have a crowded depth chart than no depth whatsoever.
