I made the addendum to the "Win and we're in" part; as the NFL confirmed, it's a do-or-die situation for the Ravens. If the Ravens win, they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. If the Ravens lose or tie, they will be eliminated, regardless of other scenarios that may take place.

All out, total effort, 60 minutes of Ravens football and we'll be in. Just have to remember that for a team like Oakland this is their super bowl. It's their last game off the year and alot off players are playing for jobs. The Ravens are the better team, no doubt, but discipline is a must. If we get off to a good start I think we can break their spirit and punch our ticket to the playoffs! GO RAVENS!! Just heard that too, good news for the Ravens! I just hope they keep a close eye on him, don't want to risk losing him for the playoffs. Ravens 24 Raiders 3 .

The league issued a statement that said the Ravens need to win, period. A loss or tie, regardless of whoever else loses or ties, makes it impossible for Baltimore to advance due to other tiebreakers that are triggered by the results of the other games, even if everyone at 8-7 and Jacksonville were to lose.

It's one of those confusing things similar to how Denver was able to leapfrog us despite holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over them.

I also hope that he doesn't gamble too much in coverage; I know you can't ask an all-world playmaker to rein himself in, but his instincts have failed him sometimes this season and part of last season.

Tom Zbikowski has played as well as he has because he's played his assignment. Reed needs to do the same and trust his teammates.

Ed Reeds my fav player, but zibby has outplayed ed. Zibby might get his shot on the strong side next year. He reminds me of what Jim Leanord did last year.

a little under 2 hours guys, what's everyone doing to pass the time?
Sitting here, filling in for someone at work, but getting out early. Also have to be home to watch my grandmother, so I have an excuse besides football to leave early.

Right now, I'm watching the Steelers-Dolphins game since it's quiet.

The Raiders are going to play us tough. They won't be pushovers...as Richard Seymour said they're playing for their JOBS. Whose incentive is greater?

That aside though I feel confident we'll beat them. The guys have to play smart and play hard the entire game. No starting slow and no being stupid.

wes welkers injury looked bad!!!!! For them good for us, even though I never wish injury on any player.
I hope it's not as serious as it looked; that's the type of injury that can cut a career significantly short. I love the way the guy plays the game, and I hope he can come back eventually.

Too bad for the Pats not having him for the playoffs. Hope he comes back strong for next season. *crossing fingers*
