Didn't the Steelers have a good record without Troy prior to this year? And aren't they on the verge of having missing the playoffs in the year following a Super bowl win for the third straight time (including a year when Troy was healthier, and a year before he joined the league)? It just seems like a Super bowl slump to me.

We've not lost a game by more than 7 points all year. Tomlin went for the on-side kick so that if our D couldn't hold the lead, at least we'd still have clock left. I think we have 8 INTs all year and Troy owns 5 of them...in like...3 games? 4 games? The slump theory may have substance but it's almost entirely on defense. Our offense blew the Browns game and ST's had a hand in 21 points surrendered in 3 games. But we've held the lead in the end until our defense allowed the opponent to march down the field for the game winner.

We made Gradkowski look like Peyton Manning for goodness sakes. *sobs uncontrollably*

Of course the slump is on defense. The offense has scored only a few less points than they did last year. The defense has allowed around 70 more points to be scored upon them than last year. The last time the difference was around sixty points.

He's got three (out of nine total) in five games, but who's counting?

Do you know how bad nine interceptions in fifteen games is? It's tied for 28th in the league along with (brace yourself) the Lions and the Browns.

Actually, i distinctly compared their stats when they were both playing strong safety. Nice attempt at wit, however. Good to see it's not worthy enough for constructive comment, but it IS worthy enough for you to complain about.

People are just getting frustrated with the constant repeat posts like this one. Stop posting the same **** and then play dumb when people get pissed or are smarting off to you.

Bring something new to the board or just stop posting (this is a general comment and not directed to any one specific person).

Well i don't watch every single thread on the forum boards. Considering that 10 people have said constructive things on this thread, apparently it's not annoying everyone. So if you, or the other guy, don't want to talk about it...don't comment on it. Period.

Man, you sure have a jaded view of this post. There were 8 people that commented about this being a duplicate post and that its ridiculous, not to mention that the entire second page is about an entirely different topic.


There is a search function on these boards - I suggest using it.

We're just trying to clean these boards up and stop the recent theme of repeat posts! Getting a little pathetic and annoying.

You'd be the first one to bust my chops about losing to the Raiders so while I understand what you're saying, I think we both know that losing to them is embarrassing. lol. Spoiled is when you're upset about losing to a good team.
