Derrick Mason...doubtful?

I was just wondering, did Mason hurt his knee during the last game or during practice? Either way, this would be a terrible loss, considering Asomugha Vs Mason is at least more fathomable than Asomugha Vs Clayton, Washington or Williams. Does anyone have any information regarding this injury? On a good note Gaither is probable, which will definitely help our Rushing attack.

I'm not too worried about Mason. He's probably just resting up. He'll most likely be playing on sunday. Even if he's not I have faith in our other guys to get it done. The Raiders play man almost exclusively which means one of their linebackers will be one on one with Rice. That spells trouble for the silver and black.

I think we'd be ok without him, if we had to be. Heap is playing great lately, Clayton, Williams, & Washington would do ok.

I'm not disagreeing with you but I think Heap is making plays because Cam is making an effort to get him the ball more. He's obviously lost a step but he can still make catches all over the field.

As for Mason, I think he'll play.

I don't think we'll miss him that much. Aso would be blanketing him all day anyways. Gonna be a big game for heap and Dwill.
