Possible Stoppage In 2011 Looming

ok i heard this on espn that the players and owners weren't getting closer and actually farther from a deal, i want to say sunday and have been given some thought to it.I lost alot of love for Baseball when they had a strike, and truthfully don't know what I would feel except anger if the NFL has a stoppage.I am just wondering what are all of your thoughts on the subject?

Not sure if there is another thread on this I know it's been spoken about tho.

I agree 100%. I loved baseball as a kid, I haven't watched a game in almost 15 years. They pissed me off a couple strikes ago. Unfortunately, it looks like football is gonna do the same thing now. Not only that, next season won't have a cap if the CBA isn't signed. Great, one step closer to the mess that is baseball. This means Oakland, Washington and Dallas will be signing every free agent on the market.....

Year without football would kill the economy as much as that is hard to believe. Don't be surprised to see outside forces forcing a deal to be made.

I would probably watch basketball and be more into college football. I hope not though, could you imagine how rusty everyone would be.

They'll get it done,Goodell knows football is the #1 sport in America right now,and taking that away would take a huge hit on it's popularity.

A year without football would be a year without the sun.

Life as we know it, would cease to exist.

I agree, there's way too much money for Goodell to lose by not having the NFL for one year.
