I Dont Get It

i just read the topic we win and were in and i still dont understand. right now us the jets and bronco's are all 8-7. how do you figure if we win were in. doeant the jets and bronco's have to lose and for us to win to make the playoffs. i am going by the playoff picture on nfl.com. it shows us in the hunt and the jets and bronco's as the 2 wild card teams. we have a better div. record than the jets and all 3 of us have the same conf. record. so how are the jets ahead of us. i am confused.

even if the broncos win, we beat em before so we win the tie breaker. As for the Jets I'm not sure.

Now, the Ravens will be seeded 5th if they win and the Jets lose. 6th if the Jets win.

5th = they would face the Bengals
6th = they would face the Pats.

Thanks, I was another one who didn`t quite get it, I put it down to the time difference
