Jalen Parmele

I thought he did pretty well today, for this to be his first real action with the football in his hands this season. Kudos to Jalen. :)

I agree. He showed some good burst and was decisive returning the ball.

One thing I didn't like was his seeming reluctance to put his shoulder into Jeff Reed on his long return. On top of that, he let Reed shove him hard out of bounds. I would've either stiff-armed Reed right in his grill or put my shoulder into his chest.

i wish we would've taken webb off of all special teams when he became a starter..and put someone else (parmele) that can do the same job..

There are numerous starters who play special teams around the NFL. There was no reason to relieve Webb of his special teams duties.

Definitly room for improvement but he didnt turn the ball over and had some decent returns. He consistantly got to the 20 yard line or better and even broke a big one into Pitt territory. I wasnt expecting much from our KR, since Webb went down. He was a pleasant surprise for me.

Yep. I honestly have a feeling he and Matt Lawrence will be battling for the back-up RB job next year.

I agree.

Jalen moves pretty well for big guy and for his first action I was pleasantly surprised at his returns. Seemed like he gained his confidence and became more comfortable.

I seriously think that the Ravens will get him and Lawrence more involved in the offense next year...cheap labor. They can then kerplunk some money down for a Frank Walker replacement and a little bit of pass rush help.

Probably just trying to be safe and not put the ball on the ground in his first game as kr.
