Early in the season, I thought Washington was the best cornerback on the team. Foxworth and Webb have closed that gap between corners. Fabian's contract is up next year and he is nursing a knee injury. Knee injuries can take 1 or 2 season for full recovery. Opinions??

Our CB has been dismantled by injuries 3 years in a row. If nothing else Fabian is good depth to step in if someone goes down. We'd be stupid not to atleast bring him back to TC to see how the knee is holding up, especially since Webb might not be back until week 6 next year. Our FO has a lot of tough decisions to make this offseason but in my opinion Washington is not one of them. Bringing him back, as long as the price is right, is a no brainer.

Foxworth, Webb, Rolle and Fabian is a solid group of corners. All have health issues, so certainly see how those issues play out, but those 4 corners, healthy, is a solid core.

I have no idea whether the team will re-sign Fabian. I would though because you can never have enough corners, unless one of them is named Frank Waler.

I'm only corcerned with how much other teams are willing to offer a two time Ravens CB and how much Ozzie is willing to get him. Possibly Washington would be demoted to the nickle, while other teams would be willing to give him starter money.

Yeah but with the uncapped year, which its looking very likely that we will get, he'd be a RFA. We could tender him high and still pay him a salary within our budget. And, we'd get compensated if someone offered him a deal to big for us to match. I dont think it will happen. Being worth the money is one thing being worth a high draft pick is another.

I'd like to see a little more size and physical play at the position. Washington is small and fast but I think the bigger/stronger receivers will have their way. We tackle the big receivers but I'd like to prevent them from catching the ball better than we have been this season.

Your problem is not of financial or health concerns? I thought he played as well as any other cornerback that started for the team. Washington certainly seemed to draw the least amount of penalties, which is the main reason we are sitting at 8-7.
