It was a team loss. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus.
[/quote]
Thats right all of them belong under the bus right now. That had to be the most pathetic display by a team fighting for their playoff lives that I have ever seen in my life. And then John Harbaugh being as classless as it gets runs off the field without greeting the other team.

I'll hate everyone equally on both sides of the ball. This has been a year long problem whether it be ...
poor clock management
suspect play calling
lack of discipline
the O line letting Flacco run for his life at times
Flacco looking like a deer in the headlights at times or living on check downs
dropped passes
missed field goals
half the D not being able to tackle
special teams looking like special ed
etc etc
and I'll never blame the zebras for anything because that is just lame BS

You must not have seen Denver last year, Dallas either.
Also, Harbaugh shook hands with Tomlin, then walked off.

If I had to point to one person, Cousins vs. Woodley match-up hurt us most.

Why Cameron didn't keep Heap or a RB back to help Cousins baffles me...

It sure did. I really want to know what Cousins was thinking when he blasted Woodley well after the play had ended.

Because then thats one less recieving option. With the way Pitt's secondary has played, their pass rush can be somewhat negated if you get rid of the ball quickly. Problem is our recievers suck so much that they still couldnt manage to get open.

I do believe he was the largest factor in the lost. Fortunately, due to others, the loss didn't cost us the playoffs.

Wow, that was a pretty bad choke an all accounts. I thought the defense actually played pretty well considering who was starting in the secondary. We got good pressure on Roethlisberger and shut down Rashard Mendenhall for the most part. I think we really missed having Gaither today, becuase Woodley was beating up Cousins pretty bad especially after he hurt his leg.

It is hard to understand how Mason dropped that pass. It's also hard to understand why Cousins didn't get some help with Woodley or why Joe didn't at least throw it up on 4th down.

This year's team has been one of the hardest for me to understand. In years past it was clear that the offense, most importantly the QB and aging O-line was to blame. This year we have a solid (when healthy) o-line and a young up and coming QB. Just have to play more disciplined and exeucute when it counts.

Not to take anything away from the Steelers, but we Lost that game more than they won it.

I'm not going to hate any of the Raven's, they gave that game away as a team, but I do not really understand the train of thought at the end od the 1st half. We have the steelers in 3rd and long inside the 10 yard line with around 1:42 left with the clock running and we have 2 time outs but instead of calling a time out and making sure the defense was set and on the right page, we allow the clock to run. Now after the steeler drive 90 some yards and score, then we run the ball a few plays and then use the time outs. I'm really lost on this one.

No! He shocks some hands and then ran off the field!

Lets not turn against our own team, Harbaugh hasn't been a very popular coach. I dislike that he is getting such a negative start.

The whole team is to blame. But honestly if I had to pick one.

Onel Cousins. This "raw" talent needs help in thinking smartly.

He allowed three critical sacks at important times. A couple of penalties, including a 15 yard PI call that took us out of FG range.

When he went down with a injury Tony Moll came in, Chester was preparing. Why not stick with one of these guys, it couldn't be any worse.

Nope, Onel back in. He's a big body that can't play. That's all.

It's because our players are dummies. And i love how the players feel like calling them thugs means they're hard nosed players and tough on defense and all that. People call you thugs because you're dummies. Not because you're tough or whatever. Get that out of your empty heads. I have yet to see a smart thug, somebody who listens, keeps his cool and takes full responsibility. Our guys are just dummies. Like i said earlier, it's more important for some of them to retaliate or punch somebody in the face because he's been beating him all day and punching them is the only way they can get back at them.

You can blame this loss on our entire team. Mason has to make that catch. Rice can't fumble. The O-Line...just pathetic as far as pass protection goes. Incredible terrible. Flacco couldn't stand there in the pocket for .1 seconds without getting hit. Right after the snap he already had at least 2 defenders trying to rip his arm off. Gaither please get your butt back on the field and move Oher back to RT. Also get Chester back on the field, Yanda needs to be benched. That right side of our line is a mess. Same goes for the left actually.

As for Suggs and Kelley, that stuff happens all the time. It's just that they got caught this time. Kelley wasn't even doing anything. Sure he had his hands on that dude's jersey for a split second too long but it's amazing that the refs see this stuff yet they don't see any obvious holdings on Suggs or Ngata.

And i wouldn't blame Chris Carr or Frank Walker. They are just terrible. They don't know any better. I have zero expectations when Walker enters the field, because he has zero skills. Only two things can happen when somebody throws the ball in his direction. It's either 1) a completion for a touchdown or 2) defensive pass interference. So all i do is pray that they don't throw the ball in his direction. He needs to go. Fast, quick, in a hurry.

I really don't see how Frank Walker can be blamed. I mean, this team has endured a lot of questionable penalties--and of course, they're all questionable when you're a fan--but that illegal contact call on Frank Walker is the first I think we can say was absolutely, irrefutably, undeniably wrong. What comprises illegal contact is a judgment call, but once the quarterback is scrambling, which Roethlisberger unquestionably was, it's legal. Walker did nothing wrong there. The refs did. That's why Coach Harbaugh was so upset.

I'm frankly shocked we're not talking about this. We did plenty to shoot ourselves in the foot today, but in the end, the Steelers were handed the victory by the refs. The interception took us very close to field goal range. That it failed to stand was straight-out incorrect on the refs' part.

So if the question is who we are going to hate, that's my answer.

It baffles me when Harbaugh refuses to notice that a player such as Frank Walker averages about 2 pass interference penalties, yet we still refuse to sign a serviceable cornerback. You can also see glimpses of poor coaching in that we are one of the highest penalized teams in the league. If Harbaugh was enforcing clean play (aka no dumba** unnecessary roughness penalties) we would not be penalized nearly as much, because the players would realize that this is detrimental to the team and doesn't help in ANY way. Blocks in the back, holding, false start, all that, it NEEDS to be ironed out and quick. If we do this in the playoffs we are royally screwed. Mental lapses such as dropped balls also can't happen. ALL our mistakes MUST be addressed and if not we will lose in the first round of the playoffs.

PS I hope Ozzie clearly saw our need for a dominant #1 WR as well as a serviceable #2 CB, props to Foxworth he had a solid game

I thought Chester would come in at RG and then Yanda would move to RT. Apperantly, the coaching staff had something else in mind. In fact, I am surprised that the coaching staff didnt go that route to begin with.
