Terrell Suggs

Whats up with him. Steelers were moving their protection to Barnes side the whole damn game. He is too fat, all he does is dance around the line of scrimmage to bat down a pass. Really disappointing to see a guy play like this after he gets his contract.

He was involved in 5 tackles, 3 pressures and was double teamed almost all game. What do you want from him? He's one of our few players who can actively bring pressure- so they double team him and shut him out.

Maybe not a block in the back on a INT- TD?

Maybe some discipline?
Or maybe pressuring the QB?

I want him to not make needless stupid blocks in the back on would-be touchdown plays.

I thought he played fairly well today. But I did think he would go off on the Steelers. It's the only team I feel that Suggs really comes to play.

It's obvious that next year, Suggs needs to cut the crap and join training camp & preseason. He can't be a diva, because he isn't pulling his weight this year.

I agree with all of this. I was surprised and upset he didn't get a sack on Big Jen. Nothing makes him happier... It just didn't seem like his motor was running full speed today, or all year for that matter.

Suggs once again was a non-factor and when he had an opportunity to make a play, he dropped the ball, literally.

I just saw Brandon Marshall let two of those passes slide through his hands, except he didn't have to jump.

Suggs isnt playong what we expected him to when we gave him his big contract. He looks like a diva out there. He gets no pressure and he doesnt stop the run. but i can say he played decent vs. pittsburgh. for the money we pay him i expect him to be good as james farrior or elvis dumervil at least!

Maybe you should try breaking through a double team?

Not only all that, he is an ignorant a$shole off the field. I hate players like him, who love to say stupid **** in the media as bulletin board material. It has been OK, because he has been borderline dominant and had a lot of "potential" for a while.

But as he is now, I think he's shown himself to be a pretty good player. But certainly no game-changer on a consistent basis.

He is a consistent non-factor because of the opponent's ability to double-team him and eliminate his presence. No one else is willing to step up. We are an awfully coached football team

If Suggs does not start earning his money this may have a dramatic effect on the team in the future. Ozzie may be reluctant to hand out big contracts (i.e., lots of guaranteed money) to keep good players for fear they will "pull a Suggs". "Oh no, my toe hurts. Gimme a boot so I can sit out training camp."
