We need the Jets or Broncos to lose 1 game.

Which is more than likely seeing as the Jets play the Colts and the Broncos play the Eagles.

If the Broncos/Jets win out, we're not in.

If the Jets lose once, then we can beat Oakland and enter.

If the Broncos lose once, then we can get in as the fifth seed.

We don't need the Broncos to lose; if Denver wins out, and the Jets lose one game, then we're in as the sixth seed and Denver takes the fifth.

If the Jets win out, and the Broncos lose one game, then we're in as the fifth with New York as the sixth.

If they both lose one game, then we go in as the fifth, with Denver as the sixth.

We just need the Jets to lose one game to get in.

All this assumes that we beat Oakland, by the way.
