Just heard on NFL Network that Harrison will play. I guess we all knew he would as to the meaning behind this game.

I didnt put any names in the title of the post so we could use this for all updates rather than have 50 different posts about all the players.

Ed Reed will play, and he was on the field warming up. ESPN NFL countdown just said it.

Edit - They just said he will not play after working out on the field. Sorry. Harbaugh overruled and said he will NOT play.

Oh well. Better for him to be healthy and play next season than not play ever.

As much as we all love Reed and know the importance of him being on the field, this is the right decision to keep him on the sideline. Sitting him this week and next week will allow him to fully heal and be ready for the playoffs. Dont think him being on the sidelines as a total loss either. You can bet he will be directing Zibby and the other d backs throughout the game. It will be like having 11 1/2 players on the field.

Hmm, I can answer that question right now, its not too hard.... Ed isn't 100%, and we all know it. Putting him on the field when he is injured doesn't help the team, or himself.

Ed said he wanted to go. Thats enough for me. Harbaugh may have a good reason, so im not completely saying he is wrong to do it, but Ed Reed brings a whole new element to this team, and this defense, and in the biggest game of the year to this point, we need all hands on deck.

Yea if he's healthy he does. Ed wants to play because its a rivalry. We need him down the road, and with the way Zibby has been playing, there's no reason to put Ed in until he is 100%.
