They have different standards than we do.

We feel as if the lack of profanity elevates the level of conversation a bit more (repeated threads, aside), as people have to rely on actual thought to get their points across rather than just vulgarity as filler. That, and we encourage manners so as to attract fans rather than push them away; people tend to get along better when there's a peaceful environment with a reasonable amount of class. It's non-threatening, but not for everyone. But then, that's why there are alternatives to this message board, too.

...or you could just keep quiet until the game's over and let the scoreboard do all the talking. That's how you really get under their skin; it's not all the talking, that's just hot air. When you can literally just sit there and point at the score and pictures of the game and let it all speak for you, it's forcing them to relive it. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and they can say more than anything you could come up with. It's a beautiful thing, reminding them of the time Bart Scott came off the edge and scrambled Big Ben's brains. :)

freaking ben roethlisberger is the one and only person we have to worry about... we get consistent pressure on him we will be fine.. if not and he gets time itll be a shootout and anyone could win it.. he's the only chance they have

My favorite memory of getting under a Steelers fan skin without trash-talking:

I let this kid in my class talk all this trash leading into Week 12 of the 2006 season, when he finally talked himself into a corner and made a bet with me: the loser had to wear the other team's jersey for a week. That Sunday, the Ravens shut out the Steelers 27-0. That following week, he wore a spare Ravens jersey of mine for a week straight with pictures posted on MySpace, from the start of the school day to dismissal, all day long. He also had to kiss my shoe and say out-loud that the Ravens owned the Steelers.

We had the same bet for the second match-up, but I had mercy and just forced him to wear it only one day. Best bet I've ever won. :)

Let them conduct themselves in any uncivilized manner they see fit. It's like that saying "Mind over matter. I don't mind and they don't matter." I'll let the Ravens do the talking for me. They're ripe for the pickin' and we're the team to do it!

That's to be expected. They hate us because they know that the Ravens have stolen some of their thunder. They are no longer the only bully on the playground. Let them show their lack of class if they wish to do so, it won't make their team win on sunday

They can say what they want. For as inconsistent as the Ravens have been, they haven't embarrassed themselves the way the Steelers have at times. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

This is the biggest reason i love these forums. I try to read other teams a bit too, but it gets so juvenile and "OMGish" that I just can not take it.

I've never been one to talk smack... only after a win.
After a win, I just do my signature Randy Orton pose (google it) in my Ravens jersey if they still try to talk smack. They have no comeback for the pose.
It's the cockiest thing ever but it gets my point across PERFECTLY. :)

That about sums up their 600 million deleted posts from last year :229031_rant: - Steelerfans---------> :standcorner: They chose to not understand out Code of Conduct and even Warden was jumping on some of them last year.

They may be yukking it up on their board, but judging by the lack of troll posts they are not feeling over confident. We had smack talking, trolling Steeler fans right up until they started losing this year. I would like to think they got some humility and class :sohappy: :229031_rofl:
