What Did Everyone Get For Christmas?

53 posts in this topic

Well, my present opening isn't finished quite yet, since we haven't exchanged with my dad and stepmother yet.

From my mom

a tower heater/ultrasonic humidifier
pair of felted wool clogs (that's been her thing for Christmas...knitting huge clog slippers and then washing and drying them)
small George Foreman grill
Chef Rocco hand blender/whisker/chopper
a special necklace (she wirewrapped a small rock she had picked up in Yosemite this summer)
a 15oz mug covered in photos she took in Yosemite
a calendar full of photos of my nieces and my brother-in-law and my sister
a weekly planner calendar

From my sister's family:
a Rosetta Stone DVD with 41 different languages
two fridge magnets (individual pictures of my nieces)
a pretty girlie shirt from my brother-in-law
a blinky Christmas lights necklace

A new oven from the in-laws (I asked for it, my old one was a POS), installed with the old one carted away.
Fleece pajama pants from my sister in law.
Raven's hoodie and 2010 calendar from my girls.

The mister and I don't exchange gifts on Christmas. We buy/do things for each other throughout the year.

Mostly about the kids over here, too. They got spoiled this year.

That said, all I got was a printer from my brother and his wife, even though I've said outright that I have no use for a printer other than maybe a dozen times a year. So...I'll be using it to do things for my dad now. -_-

My best friend got me a Joe Flacco poster awhile ago, so not sure if you'd consider it a Christmas present so much as something to cheer me up. And a buddy at work got me Joe Flacco rookie trading cards. All of that now makes up my "Wall of Flacco" (lol), along with all the other Flacco and Ravens memorabilia I've acquired over the past year or so.

Christmas is usually my time to splurge on myself, and I've yet to do that, so we'll see how well I reward myself in the coming days...

So jealous! No one could afford the camera and gear I want. I'm going to have to save up for it myself over the summer.

That's messed up. :( I've never even played online before lol.

I do want to try out Madden 10 though, it looks cool. It's too bad that I cannot rip myself away from Uncharted. :)

Let's see... I got a Ravens winter jacket, baseball hat, Pennant, fleece blanket, and welcome mat. In addition to Ray Lewis, Ray Rice, Joe Flacco, and Terrell Suggs jerseys. Oh yeah, and an awesome plaque with the 2006 Ravens on it, which I really love because it has Steve McNair on it, who was my favorite quarterback.
