I love when people call us thugs and bullies.

Ravens = Bullies. But only if we can become a top 3 defense again . Boy those were good times...

unfortunately the only "nickname" i usually hear for the Ravens is from raven-haters who like to call them "ratbirds" :34853_shakehead:

The Chiefs had the Gritz Blitz way back in the day. We were once Organized Chaos, and it still hasn't died.
The San Diego Chargers "Air Coryell". Dan Fouts throwing the rock all over the place, especially to Kellen Winslow Sr.,one tough son of a gun! Another I remember is the Archie Manning lead New Orleans "Ain'ts". Couldn't win to save there lives and one of the first time I remember seeing fans with bags on their heads.

I cant think of any but the G men are ok!

That nickname lends itself to another, less complimentary name.

I heard someone call us the Beltway Bullies one time. I guess they couldnt see the huge Ravens logo on the front of my hoodie or they were just being a jerk, didnt bother me though I just snickered.

Yeah but that one is only used by teams we sweep during the season.

And everyone else in the league. I haven't heard many people use "Cardiac Cats" since the single digit weeks. It's back to the classic name now. :)

Its beginning to shape up that way isn't it? Should be a good game! If any you guys are coming to town for that one (provided it happens) be sure to let me know. Will get some fans together and show you the cool places to hang out. Yes even in Cincinnati we have a few cool places. :lolpoof:

I thought Steeler fans call us Ratbirds. It's the dumbest thing I ever heard.
From what I understand that was started by the Browns fans, personally I hate it and anything else derogatory. I am not much of a trash talker, unless provoked.

Lol, that does not surprise me at all. They are probably behind a couple of the Steelers nicknames as well.

I guess they have nothing better to do. Look at us, we've been posting playoff scenarious like crazy for over a month; they don't have anything like that to distract them. XD

Ratbirds and Dirty Birdies are what i usually hear. But purple people eaters is the funniest nickname, my opinion on Minnesota fans and that nickname make it the funniest/lamest one i have ever heard.

LOL. It has certainly kept us busy, hasn't it? It's made the end of the season interesting.

Cardiac Cats was okay until it happened to us. :(

BUT, did anyone hear Rothlisberger in a press conference recently? It kind of pissed me off when he called the Steelers the "Cardiac Kids". Yeah, part of it was just because he's a Steeler and, yeah, I know the Bengals didn't exactly invent the whole "Cardiac Whatevers", but they used it just this season. I just thought it was rude of Ben to use it.

Could be just me, though. I don't like Ben.

Well he is partially correct! The Steelers are the Cardiac Kids. They barely have a pulse and their team is on life support!

What I don't care for with the squealers is that their half-wit fans (except those on this board, of course) had to steal the Heeeeeeap thing and use it as Heeeeeath.
