The Uniforms

For our jerseys on Sunday against the Bears, why did we wear black jerseys and white pants, instead of black jerseys and black pants.

As has been noted on numerous occasions, Coach Harbaugh is not a fan of the all-black combination; they're too reminiscent of college uniforms. Additionally, almost every team in the NFL has an alternate black uniform, and to wear all-black would almost make the Ravens look like the Steelers.

The suggestion I've made is to possibly add a subtle purple or purple-and-gold stripe to the pants to make them look less like spandex pajamas. Another idea would be to change the socks.

I don't think the all black reminds anyone of the steelers...
If anything we look like the saints. I believe they arethe only other team with and all black Uni, and it's their standard home jersey!

Oh yeah, whom have u made this suggestion to? Cuz I can tell u one guy who doesn't give a rodents backside about others' suggestions.

Cause we haven't worn all black since the NE game in 2007.....have you been watching?

Unforunately all I remember from that game was Landry getting hurt....someone correct me if I'm wrong about the last time we wore all black being against NE in 2007.

Landry wasn't hurt in the Redskins game. He was nearly decapitated by Jamal Lewis. I'm pretty sure you're right about the pitch black though. The last time I recall seeing them was in the infamous Patriots game.

I came to these forums to engage in educated and insightful conversation. After 100 something odd posts I now realize that only occasionally will my goal be realized. I still post in the fluff threads due to lack of anything better to do at work. There are those among us that consistently provide educated posts. You know who you are and thank you for your time and forethought. And then you have the C-MAC should run for president while riding the three headed monster with Flacco as his running mate because he is clearly the best QB now or ever kind of guy. I mentally shake my head daily at these posts. I'd like to thank everyone for there time and allowing me to vent regardless of which category you fall in. I think we can all unite under one banner. GO RAVENS!!!!!

What are you TALKING about? I love the black on white. We looked amazing out there today. My favorite Ravens uniform by far. Black-on-black is so one-dimensional and there's a few teams with the exact same uniform.
