Nfl.com Fantasy Playoff Schedules

I'm kind of curious on how they bracket them, because in almost all of my leagues on there I'm the #1 or 2 seed... yet I have to play in the first round.... I thought that I would have a bye week if I was one of the top 2 seeds but apparently not... and it looks like its set up like

Round 1:
4 teams.. 2 games

Round 2:
6 teams... 3 games

Round 3:
Championship


anyone care to elaborate why I might be playing in this first week as a top 2 seeded team?

I've never played on NFL.com. But are you sure any team gets bye weeks? Do you know what teams (and seeding based on records) have the bye?

I would have to assume there is some sort of bye... but especially when it goes from 2 games to 3 games...... I don't get it... I mean I lost in one of my leagues but I was in 3rd place... another one I won by 2 and I'm the #1 seed... and the third I am either the 1 or 2 and I won in considerable fashion

but I was looking through the rules and what not and couldn't find anything that would explain that in any detail....

I also don't know why it goes from 4 teams to 6 teams either... that would mean that every1 is gauranteed in the playoffs or that the first round doesn't mean anything

I was just a little worried especially if I were to lose on a game in which I'm supposed to have a bye

Could be some sort of loser bracket.

ooh I don't think there is a "bye" week for the ppl who are making a run at the champion title ... I think the other spots are for what you said loser brackets (the middle one being the championship game) I think
