Those moves right there, even though they didn't work, are why I wanna see them try Troy Smith at receiver, despite his natural position being QB or RB. It wouldn't hurt to have him swallow his pride and try to make plays on the outside.

I heard Adam Schefter and Mort say that it's a POSSIBILITY....that the Cards might not keep Boldin after this season and we might pursue. It's NOTHING definite. Far from it right now.

It's extremely believable, given that the uncapped year will make it easier to afford him (despite checks and balances to prevent massive cap-dumping before the cap is restored), and Boldin isn't happy in Arizona.

Boldin isn't nearly as much of a locker room malcontent as the other receivers the Ravens have tried to pursue, so even though he wouldn't be the young game-breaker we're looking for, he's still a Pro Bowl talent and would be great in Mason's place if D-Mase retires. And if Mason sticks around, even better.
