Actually, that game was moved to week 10 from week 2 and the game was on a sunday

Actually, it was moved to Monday night before the hurricane ever actually hit. Then, once they saw the damage... they realized they had to move the game to Week 12. But initially, they moved it to Monday... so I don't see why that would be a problem in this case either.

C'mon, snowbunnies, it's football. The snow will be cleared and the game will be played at 4:15 PM. There won't be any problems.

Looking at the last weather model runs, rates of an inch or more will continue through 7-9 PM for BWI. Honestly, with the situation they are in now, they will be unlikely to reopen before then. At that point all planes must be deiced before they are allowed to take off. Situation will be clearing out all the planes on the runways before Chicago's can get in here.

Honestly, the earliest I see them getting in here is 6:00 this morning. NFL will have to decide if that's sufficient to have the game. There has also been a couple mentions on the radio that this came could be held as late as Tuesday night. That I find extremely unlikely, but you never know.

Green Bay planned ahead and got into Pitts. There game has been moved to 4:15 as well.
49'ers got into Philly for an already scheduled 4:15 game. They planned ahead too.
I guess the Bears don't game plan well. Hopefully this effects their preparation before the game.

I just heard on wbal tv that the NFL requires a team to be in an opponents city 24 hours before kickoff. They didn't say anything about punishment or fines if they don't meet this deadline.

they planned on leaving last night at 9pm but had mechanical problems with the plane by the time they were ready for takeoff the snow grounded them....check my link a few posts up the bears had a rough night lol
