Rex Raves About Revis (DPoY Award)

40 posts in this topic

Although I'm a Billick fan, the biggest thing that Rex took away from his time under Billick was the ability to be a reporter's dream with all the sound bytes he's given. Great for the media, bad for him later on down the line; makes him a bigger and easier target for ownership (not just the media or the fans) to pin the blame on when the team is struggling badly.

You guys just love to cry foul...

The reporters fed him that question, all he was doing was supporting HIS PLAYER. That's what head coaches do.

If he had half a brain, all he had to say was with all respect to Charles Woodson, I've had front row seats watching Revis play all year and he'd be my choice for DPOY. If he can get sucked in that badly and end up saying Revis has a greater impact this year than Ray did in 2000 he needs to work on public relations, and a history lesson.

Not to mention the fact that the opposing team has no shortage of motivational material.

My short fuse has ignited with him. Rex Ryan is an idiot and Tannenbaum is stupid to hire him in the first place. Ryan couldnt get a job for a long time because everyone knows he has a big mouth and his mouth is quite embarrassing. The Jets have major holes and no consistency, until that changes I wouldnt go booking any flights to Miami for the Super Bowl. I dont know why everyone is so sold on Sanchez. He's only played one or two bad weather gmaes all year and couldn't even grab the football and you think a guy from Southern California is going to get it done in 12 inches of snow in Jersey in December? The Jets already traded away most of their draft picks for this draft already, they traded one this year for Lito and two for Edwards so now like the last 4 years, 255 players will be drafted and only 3 or 4 them will be Jets.

Sorry if I offended anyone who still cares for him.

Yes because having "half a brain" means saying what YOU would say. Wonder what someone will a full brain would say. Maybe his thoughts?

I don't think Rex Ryan really gives a damn if people try and throw what he's said before in his face down the line. He's that kind of a man. I guess some people just can't handle that.

Ray lewis, bill parcells and bill belichik. Those three have given half the league a head coaching job. Ryan who I do like, needs to learn some respect.
